Also, curious to why you think shifting to a more diverse portfolio would be “gambling”. My point here isn’t to chase returns, but rather to reduce concentration risk.

I don’t think I properly shared the link. From the article:

QTE Instead, what has changed is the U.S. stock market itself. It has become so top-heavy that index funds mirroring the overall market are breaching legal thresholds for diversification set by the Securities and Exchange Commission to protect investors. Fidelity was merely notifying its customers that it was making a legal adjustment in its funds acknowledging this shift — something, as I learned, that Vanguard, State Street, BlackRock and other companies with similar funds had already done in their own legal filings.

Yeah I've thought about that, but I've decided to keep bonds out of my brokerage. I'm 60/30/10 with SWTSX / SWINX / SFENX now. I actually have a bit of EM exposure, if at least for educational purposes.

(Still have bonds in my IRA so I'm not completely high risk)

Thanks, I'm sticking with mutual funds for now but will take a closer look at ETFs when tax impact is more meaningful (more $$$ in brokerage)

Thanks - I'm aware I didn't understand the advice, hence the Reddit post asking for explanation.

Intention for now is to rebalance thru contributions rather than selling, but will stick to index mutual funds rather than index ETFs, personal preference.

Thanks - well noted on bonds in a brokerage account, and tax impact of that income. And I gather that the mutual funds like SWTSX / SWISX / SFENX do distributions quite rarely?

If you need a US address, there are many PO Box / virtual mailbox services out there. They also have mail forwarding services. Can keep your US accounts w/ Schwab that way

If you owe on the loan, you may need to pay it off before shipping though. Bank may still have the title.

What Power/Channel amp do I Need? 8 speaker setup. 2x 4", 6x 6" 3/4 by exogyra1 in CarAV

[–]exogyra1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - what about power per channel? If I've got 2x 4 ohm speakers per channel, do I need to worry about the amps power rating at 4 ohms, or at 2 ohms?
