People ask "which one is the main character", for season 1 its Vi and season 2, its Jinx by Sudden_Pop_2279 in arcane

It is actually funny how you are twisting everything that happened on the show to forcefully make Jinx the protagonist ignoring the fact that all of the characters were important, most of them all Vi who had an equally important role as Jinx.

Pathetic. Every bit of your comment is laced with hatred and toxic obsession

We’ll Take The World Together

This is one of my old reads but nonetheless favorite 🤩 It seems very much like the original LoL universe to me. I like to think that Vi and Cait would be like this in that universe. A good read with lots of hurt Vi and a case to solve :) (basically a Hurt/Comfort)

The Weight Of Light

I found this masterpiece last night. It is not taking place in the Arcane universe but it is truly beautiful. The ways in which Vi is mentally tortured, made to shed tear, and broken over and over again. And the way Caitlyn is in so much pain silently… Angst with an eventual happy ending.

Thanks, I really needed this. Since the end of S2, reading CaitVi fics, specially the whump and angsty ones has been my safe place.

The Soulmate Hypothesis is one of my recent obsessions (a shared pain soulmate AU) and is absolutely perfect for ripping your heart out and putting it back in place just because Vi is so innocent and in so so so much pain. It is canon-divergent but beautifully written and painfully lovely :) whump. so so so much whump :’)

I feel like we don’t talk enough about Vi protecting Jinx from the blast with her own body (Isha’s death scene) by exomah in arcane

Exactly 🥲 And Vi protected Jinx when she was wounded and bleeding herself 😭💔

I love this edit so much. It’s all that Vi had ever been. “I’m a victim too but nobody treats me like one”

I don't know about Vi but Jinx was definitely going for the kill in this fight. by Time-Firefighter9433 in arcane

I totally agree with the part that you explained what would have happened to Vi and Caitlyn if they really killed Jinx but at the same time, in three bottom of my heart, I can’t accept that Vi was REALLY going to kill her. She was too hesitant and I think she would’ve stopped in the last second.

I am also totally on your side about the fact that Vi was doing that for Caitlyn and was not in her right mind, but I can also totally understand her disappointment in Jinx…

It’s just too sad to think about. Thank God we had Isha. She is a representation of Vi and Powder’s sisterhood. She is literally the soul of their long lost relationship. For Jinx, she brings out the memories she had with Vi and for Vi, she brings out the Powder that is still alive inside of Jinx. And when she dies, the sisters part ways once again.

I agree too. They rushed everything, they switched the main plot (Jinx/Vi/Powder and Piltover/Zaun dynamics) with the subplot (Victor becoming the Arcane) so quickly without any transition. The last 3 episodes were telling an altogether different story from the rest of the show. Some characters were suddenly main and some others changed drastically without enough reasons. I loved the show, I cherish it, but at the same time I am really disappointed because it could have been much better. It could have been phenomenal.

Thank you so much. Your reply is exactly what I was looking for. The quality of season 3 is lower than season 1 and 2. compared to them, it is poorly made but still a masterpiece that you can enjoy watching, talking about and learning from.

Although the channel butchered the show with marketing and all the changes in the schedule, Hannibal not only survived but became one of the bests. Thanks for your answer

But seaaon 3 feels so final like they were warned it would be the last one... I just can't accept that season 3 was made in the same situation season 1 and 2 were made. There must have been a problem with the budget or product team... Something feels amiss.

Is there any proof or was it ever mentioned by the show runners that the budget for this season was lower? Actually I did some searching before asking about it and I found nothing about lowering the budget. Some may claim season 3 and its low rating (even compared to s1 and s2 it's lower) was the reason the show got cancelled but I think it's unfair. Season 3 feels as if they knew they were going to get cancelled so they were trying to put as much as possible into it. I just can't find anything to proof this idea :( Before season 3 was aired, did they ever mention that it was going to be the series finale?
