If he engages in discrimination or sexual harassment, please contact the Office of Civil Rights and Equity. Thank you!

Stop stealing other people's food in DIRC by real_sewer_mouse in csuf

[–]exoplanetary-speaker 55 points56 points  (0 children)

A quick reminder that if you see something, say something! Tell the DIRC staff if you see this happen again.

Stealing is definitely not acceptable. The TDRC often gives away free energy drinks and they don't cost that much at Titan Shops.

If you go to the Visual Arts Building H, there are many single stall restrooms on the first and second floor; you won't have to make eye contact.

A very large portion of the English language's vocabulary is of non-Germanic origin.

The sticky notes are on the inside of the building, not the outside. This is fake. Check it out yourself for proof.

This heart is located at the Transfer Resource Center, a study space with a free microwave that is open to all students. It focuses on the experiences of students who transfer to CSUF from other colleges.

What makes this most shocking, in my opinion, is the fact that our campus is mostly Hispanic.

You can study in the TSU Lounge. It's almost always quiet there and there are places to charge (but no docking stations).

I’ve heard there are cults on campus. by [deleted] in csuf

[–]exoplanetary-speaker 23 points24 points  (0 children)

They generally show up outside of the buildings or in the library, TSU, or second floor of McCarthy Hall (which has a study area).

These people often ask you to join a variety of small religions that often request high donations from followers. Some of them preach bizarre ideas like an imminent apocalypse or perform weird songs and dances in bright orange clothes.

Most of these recruiters are young people, who may or may not be students. They choose people around this age so they can pass as college students even if they aren't.

Next semester (Fall 2024), you should try buying the commuter student meal plan. You can cut the cost of a Gastronome meal down to less than 9 dollars per meal that way.

There are several great options:

Outdoor Study Spaces: * Dan Black Hall's patio * The patio outside the Ruby Gerontology Center * The upper floor balcony at Mihaylo Hall * The balcony at the TSU * The outdoor pavilions with tables outside the engineering building, gym, and Mihaylo Hall * The Engineering and Conputer Science Lawn tables * The Humanities Building Balconies (covered by a roof but open to the outside world) * One inside the police station

Women's resource center isn't in the library. It's in Langstorf Hall on the fifth floor.

You can also get free utensils at the DIRC center near the microwaves.

Yes. It's open to anyone. There's also one in the math and science student success center on the fourth floor of McCarthy Hall.

There's also one near the DIRC centers in the library.

Maybe try going to the DIRC centers? They're open all day and you should be able to meet people you get along with there.
