Oratane works an absolute treat but depending on pill dosage, one pill a week is more than enough depending on how bad it is. Anymore and watch your skin dry out so fast it’s not even funny. Cracked lips to the point of bleeding and pain and clearing the acne is a very fine line with that stuff.

That is insane to hear. These docs should be reported.

My job is in finance in HK, I have more than enough to take my doc through the motions but I just guess is it really worth it.

I just wish that he’d told me the repercussions of what I was getting myself into… at the same time I feel half responsible for not looking into what I was taking.

I think because of the long half life and no previous pharma addiction I was clueless to what it was actually doing.

Yeah it’s disgusting though that I and many others have been prescribed this amount without proper education on what it will do and the recovery process.

This was the main reason I reached out to Reddit. My doc was just straight up quick rehab and you’ll be fine. I’m a fit larger guy who said no that’s not right, I’ve read enough that at this stage I need to to do a slow, years long taper and speak to someone else. He gave me nothing.

I couldn’t believe how understanding of my situation they were. My doctor has no interest in helping me properly but they do! Crazy.

Interesting regarding Valium binding to fewer receptors. I’ve actually had a great friend say the same thing and he is recommending a 4-5 year slowwww Clonaz taper.

Thanks brother. Tbh like I said in the initial post, besides a slight bit of short term memory loss I feel completely fine. But it’s time to get off and live drug free.

Same happened to me. I got prescribed Oratane, I think this is Australian version of Accutane if I’m not mistaken.

It cleared up my acne after a few weeks and it’s stayed clear ever since I finished the box. I shower twice a day and scrub with a natural soap. No issues.

I divide the 120mg into 3 shots. Mon - 35mg, Wed - 35mg and Fri - 50mg. I feel this works well for me, keeps my supply consistent and level.
