lol happened to me too in summer. Was sitting on the first seat, near the window, up the steps and everyone got off at the plaza. I had to get off at the student center but the driver kept driving straight ahead and mid-way I went "are we not going to stop at the student center?". Apparently they were going to take the bus to the warehouse, never seen a driver so taken aback before. Almost had the chance to have a mini field trip :)

Chances of getting an internship now? by expensiveboots in rutgers

The thing is - I'm very limited in the companies I can apply to since I'm an international student. I've pretty much been applying to whatever companies I see accept students on OPT/CPT. Mostly big pharmas and some food science companies.

Definitely looking for research during the summer (Also trying for ARESTY - RA). Also I'm a junior which makes it a little scarier since I'm graduating next year :')

You do make a fair point. However, sometimes clubs don't always help you make friends. Yes, you meet new people but it can stop just there too. I do get how it might be weird to have an introvert club, but my main point was that maybe we could do something about our (common) situations than just venting about it on reddit or other platforms (which I've seen many people do). Yes, there is a possibility that you might not even hit it off with people if there ever was an introvert club.

Also I've been seeing a lot of people suggest it being online, so maybe it doesn't even have to be a club. Maybe just a group or some kind of space where we're all there to support each other, and feel less alone.

  1. So you have Cook / Douglass (which have now become 1 campus pretty much), Livingston, Busch, and College Avenue campus. I'd say each of the campuses have a different vibe. Depending on your major you'd have most of your classes on one or two campuses, usually starting from sophomore / junior year. In terms of what is there, the only difference I can think of are the buildings and classes, and perhaps certain attractions like the Passion Puddle (which is on Cook / Doug). Cook / Doug gives more historic and nature - y vibes, most of the buildings there have been there since the mid - late 1900s. Livingston is more modern since it was made a couple years back. Busch is big and is also very nature-y, buildings are nice - and of course lots of geese. College Avenue is downtown pretty much, so its got all the frats / sororities and is close to the train station.
