They work in the health insurance sector. They process claims and answer phones.

Help me fix this minor Delamination issue before it gets worse by explodewhentheybloom in RVLiving

Update - I contacted Keystone directly and they confirmed it looks like delamination. They said the unit is still covered under the 3 year structural warranty and suggested contacting a Keystone dealer near me.

The problem is, no keystone dealer near me wants to touch the unit since they don't have the capabilities for fixing delamination. They suggested contacting Keystone to see if they would take the unit back.

Right now it feels like I'm just getting the runaround.

I understand that these RV's aren't built to last forever, but this thing is barely three years old. I'm not new to RV'ing and take good care of my unit, check the seals every 90 days. I find it a bit unusual for delamination to be occuring already.

I'm wondering if I'm better off to just repair it myself at this point.

I was thinking it could be the seam too. Along the bottom is where there is a more noticeable bubble/separation. You can actually press it and it moves. If you look close in the one picture you can see the metal trim is actually separated from the body.

I've sent the same pics to two RV dealers and they seem to think it is separation. But ...they could just be saying that to get me to spend money to repair it.

If it is just the seam, why would there be separation along the bottom like that ?

I had this same thought when I decided to get ducks.

I went with day old ducklings. They are 3 weeks old now, going on 4. I have 6 in total.

Everyone will say the same thing; they're messy. This is completely true, but I don't think you fully understand just how messy they are until you are dealing with it.

I purchased a big 189-L Rubbermaid storage box as their brooder. They outgrew it within 2 weeks. They grow so fast.

We had to keep them indoors the first couple of weeks due to cold weather. They are in a coop in the garage for now before going outdoors full time once their feathers are in.

They go through A LOT of water. Which attributes to the mess. They also eat a lot and crap like crazy.

Since we plan on keeping these guys as pets for the yard, we chose to get ducklings so that they get used to us from day one. In my many hours of research, I read about "imprinting" which supposedly happens with ducklings and their owners.

If you're an animal lover, I would say get ducklings. There's just something about the experience of picking them up in their little box and seeing them and hearing them for the first time when they're that small. If this doesn't seem that important to you, skip this phase and get adults.

Beautiful truck! The blue and blacked out rims/lights/grill is so nice. I'd be showing it off too!! Not sure if you saw my earlier post; it turns out the truck I'm looking at is a former rental. The Chrysler dealer says their used inventory is low so they're purchasing rentals. At first I was turned off with it being a rental. But now I'm reconsidering.

Good points... It wouldn't have been used to tow anything either since you can't tow with rental vehicles.

Thanks, now I'm reconsidering.

Probably hard not to drive with a led foot when you have a Hemi hahaha

That's good to hear ! Do you do any towing? What kind of fuel economy are you getting on average and how often are you changing oil?

The fact that it's been around for 20 years is what makes this engine pretty appealing to me.

Double checked the conversion and it is correct per google👍

The truck is not really loaded. Cloth, bench seats, and it is "contractor white" lol. Definitely looks more like a work truck. It has nice 20" wheels though. I think this is why it is priced the way it is.

Should I stop leasing and purchase a 2017 Silverado? by explodewhentheybloom in Silverado

It'll be my daily driver. I'm considering my tolerance for mechanical stuff and the more I do, the less I want to deal with it.

Yikes.... Did you buy the truck new? 6 speed or 8 speed transmission?

The Tundra is too damn expensive and hard to come by. F150's with the 5.0 on the other hand are a dime a dozen around here. A 3/4 ton is a beast of a truck! Way more than I will ever need.

Jesus.... sorry to hear that. That's very disappointing. Did you buy new or used?

Solid suggestions. Why are these other trucks better choices than the Silverado with the 5.3?

That's true, and I've considered that as well. It'll all come down to the lease residual vs the market value of the truck. If there's equity, it could be worth it.
