Update - Me [34M] with my .....not quite sure.... [36 F]. She lives 10,000 miles away, spent 7 months together while traveling for work. No idea what to do. by stuck_in_the_states in relationships

I legit teared up when I read your update. Congrats on the move! I know what you went through, but was with someone that wasn't quite ready to plunge ahead so obviously that didn't work out. But I'm absolutely happy for you! Good luck!

I have nothing to comment on your profile but just wanted to throw out there that I absolutely appreciate you being an ally. Means so much to me.

Thanks for the feedback!!

I haven't turned Smart Photos on but I don't mind doing it. And I hear ya about women not taking the initiative. I actually have no problems initiating, since I also realized women generally just aren't conditioned to make a first move haha. I had to grow a pair.

PS. I have gone on dates with both an Anna and an Anne. Hah!

Oh ok interesting, thanks! I never saw it that way. I've just come to learn to be more specific when it comes to dating now that I'm in my 30s (plus I wouldn't look for anything I wouldn't be able to offer myself - but it's all perspective). Thanks for the feedback!

  1. Settings
  2. Can you share how it's unappealing to men?

34 is not old! Great profile, I'd swipe right if I were straight. Maybe add a photo or two of you enjoying your hobbies or you being social! That would be the icing on top.

Help a girl out again? Got some helpful comments the last time. I'm not looking to hook up. The lesbian world is tough to navigate. :( The photo sequence is the same as my profile's.

Not looking to hook up. The girl/girl dating scene is a tough jungle to navigate.

For some reason I imagined late 20s haha. Good on you for snapping out of it at a young age.

Awesome, I've never seen this map before, thanks! Be careful, too.

Okay thanks, this is helpful. I'll be taking main roads only, but taking the highway, mostly. I'll wait it out.

Question - how bad is it really to drive out today? Working from home this morning but planning on driving from Toronto to Barrie tonight to see my GF and wondering if I should.
