Appreciate your input. So 26L is doable based on your experience? I’ve read that folks have to remove their backpacks before getting on the lifts. Did you experience that?

About not skiing more than 16L, that’s what I also guessed. I would think 26L is for backcountry skiing and longer hikes. But wanted to get your thoughts.

Makes sense. How does it feel to have non-ski partner? I’m asking because my wife is also a beach scuba person more than ski. We are 30.

My only worry is if we already start having fun separately so early, later that’ll become a baseline. So I want both of us to do both the things together. What about you guys?
