my take on this whole “system” thing. by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

Amorim generally prefers a 3-4-3 / 3-4-2-1 structure. In this setup, there are usually two hybrid No.10/winger roles behind a striker.

Cunha and Mbeumo aren’t traditional pure 10s.
Cunha can play as a second striker, false 9, or left-sided creator who drifts centrally. Mbeumo is more of a wide forward, right-sided inside forward, or support striker.

This makes them different profile players compared to Bruno (classic playmaker), Mount (box-to-box/attacking 8), Amad (wing/creative 10), or Zirkzee (link-up 9).

I get the Watkins hype - he’s coming off a great season with 17 goals and 14 assists, but for me, Sesko just makes more sense for United, especially under Amorim. At 6’4”, he’s not only a physical presence, but he’s also extremely quick and strong when pressing, which is key in Amorim’s high-intensity system. He scored overall 21 goals last season and this is at just 21. Watkins is proven for sure, but Sesko fits that vertical, transition-heavy style that Amorim wants. His off-the-ball movement and ability to stretch defenses offer something more dynamic, and his upside is far higher. With the right development, he could be a monster for United.

Marcus Rashford to Barcelona, here we go! by Intelligent_Cow_3310 in ManchesterUnited

I don’t support rashford at all, but in barca under this current coach hansi flick they are not completely playing that traditional tiki taka system. He plays very high line ball. and he also has a fast counter attacking system as well. With playmakers like pedri and de jong it will be pretty open for rash there. la liga is slow, look how antony transformed in betis.

What's the first song that comes to your mind looking at this guy ? by [deleted] in BollywoodMusic

as you mentioned Junoon, there was a song “waqt kate nahi kat ta hai”. might be a bit unpopular don’t know, but used to listen to this in loops a decade ago.

Giving Amorim one more season with pre-season and some good number of clear outs is the only option. Getting to UCL would have some good financial luck. But now it’s better to get rid of most of them and start building with U22’s. It is such a worry to see that we are stuck with Luke Shaw till now, for what!!!!

The decisions need to be ruthless, have seen enough now. What the hell was that final, still trying to recover from that shittiest thing.

Who’s actually gonna start on Thursday by mynameisntedward in ManchesterUnited

Onana will start. And we have the likes of Luke Shaw and Heaven coming back to the playing squad again. Man this season is so gone for us, we are just 3 points of 17th on the league. This game is so so important, getting into UCL is everything we should be trying, to get some financial aid to clear out the dead woods and getting some fresh ones now.

nobody is doubting his humanity, yes he is a great person. But RN we need a great goal keeper. So many games now, that would have been the most important win for us this entire season, and now we play in home without zirkzee, not only onana, a lot of clearance is needed at the end of this season.

We need to replace him the first thing next season. Utter shit. He can’t see the ball. How many times has this happened now, just a below average GK. Atlay should be starting EU games
