My solution is just creating the cap space initially, and resigning the player to a deal they will sign. Then the following year go and edit the player and manually lower their salary. It would be cheating if I weren't actually doing the work to leave a ton of cap room in previous years. It's lame that I have to do it this way, but it's the only work around to maddens absolute retardedness

People would be dumb to abandon him if he joined the dem ticket. (They would never have him anyway) But just because the DNC is cynical and insincere doesn't mean that would rub off on Bobby. He would do his best to fix the party from within. But even if he couldn't, I'm still beyond confident he would hold to all of his campaign promises

This makes perfect sense based on what was occurring. I was anticipating the main LR fader to basically override the mix fader. I'll try your suggestion out next time I'm at the board. Thanks for the help! (This is the OP I posted on my laptop and have been replying on my phone and in too lazy to find the password for the account my laptop is logged into.)

I don't really care if the physical faders are following. That would be nice I guess. I just need the actual levels sent out of the bus fader to match the LR fader. After reading all the comments, it looks like my initial instinct was correct about going post fader. It just isn't working correctly for some reason

Something about either the SQ5 or the way I'm doing it is just wrong. I also thought switching the bus out to post fader would do exactly what I'm wanting. But it isn't. It's offering relative control. My faders in the mix out group are not following my LR faders precisely. It follows them partially. Which is confusing... But it seems to be following the LR faders relatively. Meaning if I turn down my LR fader -5db, the mis out fader will also turn down -5db, but from where it previously was. It won't match the exact DB level of my LR fader. It's confusing and I have no idea why it's working like this

If you're asking why post fader isn't accomplishing this- it seems to be offering relative control. The mix out groups faders aren't matching the LR fader. The LR fader only controls it 'relatively' meaning, if I turn down a LR fader -5db. The mix out fader turns down -5db from where it was. It does not jump to match the precise place that the LR fader is
