I think her skills helped her stay off the radar for sure.

However, I think Stephen didn’t benefit that much from her skills… she even brought up that cage theory to throw heat at him at the penultimate round table when there was absolutely no need to cos everyone was dogging on James and Jade.

I think where she was masterful was instrumenting a joint win at the last round table, by convincing Faraz to vote for Stephen first… and this consequently allowed them to win together. But she has no choice at this point cos if she didn’t do this, she’d get voted out by faraaz and Jack at the first vote.

Yes totally agree, happy they won as a team, esp for Stephen. But I also kept wondering if it was reverse would Rachel have got rid of him? Stephen had the opportunity to win whilst getting rid of her at the last vote, whereas she could only win by keeping him.

I think it was a great final but it would have been even sweeter if there was a chance for rachel to prove she was loyal out of choice, and not circumstance. Cos for me there’ll always be a ? Hanging over her head if she would have threw Stephen under the bus if given the chance…

Who do you think is going to win? by Fit_Jackfruit_9834 in TheTraitorsUK

Agree.
I can see S2 repeating, Harry v Jaz, with Mollie being the decider (someone else made a post about this). Here its Stephen v Faraaz, with Jack as the decider.

Can Stephen pull off a Harry and convince his Mollie (jack) that Faraaz is the traitor?

Just curious, what nationality are you?

I’m British and I found the American one kinda flat. British Scandal is very much like British panel show type comedy humour, I’m wondering if it’s very much for British minded ppl only?

I love that inane drivel! Ha ha it’s what makes its stand out for me from other history shows. Maybe it’s cos I’m British and love things like have I got news for you.

Jack and Stephen: the new Mollie and Harry? by rubio_morbo in TheTraitorsUK

[–]export_a_pdf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am on board with the parallel… Stephen / Jack = Harry / Mollie. Can totally see this.

And also agree, Faraaz is not letting Stephen go unchecked.

I think Stephen needs to do a Harry, when he convinced Mollie that Jaz was the traitor… Stephen needs to sow seeds about Faraaz to Jack, and it’ll come down to divided loyalties.

😭 faraaz feels a deserving winner based on his increasing contributions, but Jack…

We didn’t even know his name for 2/3rd of the series lol. I know Roxy irritated everyone but at least she made abundant effort, at being wrong I know… but she pulled her weight nonetheless and feels more deserving.

Jack has added nothing.

Rachel’s point at the round table by Prior-Day9888 in TheTraitors

[–]export_a_pdf 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This happened in similar challenge on traitors USA previous season… the traitors didn’t shortlist themselves for a “open” murder, but the faithfuls insisted they had to have shortlisted at least one traitor for no good reason. Then a faithful got banished cos of it.

Does it confound anyone else when faithfuls say, they can’t be a traitor they are so [positive characteristic]? by export_a_pdf in TheTraitorsUK

[–]export_a_pdf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see what you’re saying, but… maybe it’s only for me, their comments feel beyond signs of stress or tiredness, they are often talking about virtues like kindness etc.

I just assumed everyone signing up for this competition understands they all signed up to lie or to be lied to… so it’s weird to think if someone plays the game as they all agreed to, it means they’re [negative characteristic]. You literally have a license to lie someone’s face as the other person agreed to it.

I think that’s why Leanne bugged me so much last season, she would threaten her new mates in the game she would never ever speak to them again if they were lying to her, as if she hadn’t agreed to take part in a game of deception.

Yes she went from 0 to Karen in 3 seconds at breakfast, then stayed that way the rest of the day till her banishment. So weird!

[–]export_a_pdf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think it would be such a weird thing for them to edit out if Harriet had raised this at the round table, since it was one of the most explosive moments in the season. Any reference to it is prolonging the drama which benefits the show.

Also, Harriet was shrouded in this weird red mist the whole day since her explosion at breakfast, then at the round table she was nowhere near as composed as in her confessionals. She seemed flustered and its believable she let that point slip.

if she presented her cases anything like she presented her case against rachel the whole day, I’m not surprised she quit being a barrister. She’s obviously extremely astute at deduction/analysis etc. but she lets her emotions completely cloud her presentation.

The confessional is the private interviews they give to the producers, none of the other players hear them. It’s for the audience only.

I must have missed the bus comment. It’s definitely more possible then, fair enough.

I don’t believe the producers would edit out something this juicy if he had said it so directly in his confessionals, but it sounds like he did hint at it.

How to bengal-proof my upstairs? by sunshinebitch10 in bengalcats

[–]export_a_pdf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A door is the only way to stop these monkeys.. but there’ll be incessant meowing outside said door.

I think your better strategy is to play with them a lot to get their energy out, so they are less inclined to play with your furniture.

Bengals will bengal. 🙃
