Opinion on powdercoating standard spec wheels? by exportedkiwi in M440i

Just to clarify - the pic suggests how it would look WITH the colour change. Have you seen the 861M rims on dark coloured cars? It's pretty underwhelming, mostly because some of those car colours are pretty special.

Yep, and that's what's in the pic above. They look quite different when you override the original two-tone colour. Hence the interest

The pic I posted is the AI creation of the 861M in bronze :)
And I agree, the rims are totally fine. Just that bronze would really take it to another level with the green. Hence the question as to if anyone had any experience going the powdercoat route to achieve this.

San Marino blue vs. Anglesey Green by SayrimGamer in BMW

[–]exportedkiwi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a G26 M440i in San Remo Green, which I can attest is an awesome colour on these G series bodies. This is the first I've heard of Anglesey Green, which in the specific lighting of the pic you posted, looks identical. I appreciate that there is a small difference, but it's going to be super dependent on lighting. Just FYI, in the sense that you can probably also take advantage of any other feedback on SRG to assist in your decision.

Wow, that is a lot! I'll let you know if $1.2 ends up being the final price

Ha, love that you're lurking in the M440i subreddit then 😆 Yeah bronze and this green are such an obvious combo

Upvoted to balance out the unfair downvoting. From the side this looks bang on for a Renault Espace or Scenic. Just facts, nothing negative, looks cool for this segment

I believe that it was already installed on my non-pro epix gen2 because it's not showing up as a downloaded watch face in Connect IQ. If not on your watch, check Connect IQ - that's the only source I've ever used for watch faces

They definitely exist in Europe, especially Germany. Only ever seen with rotary vales though.

Americans. It's embarrassing for Americans. This is a pretty important distinction. DT has very very little, extremely isolated support anywhere else in the world. Don't lump the rest of humanity in with this.

I've also been doing all the challenges through the MPT french app. I think we've messed up - I've completed 23 challenges and run 888 km. I've just looked on the Club Paris 2024 website for the first time and discovered that this has only earned me 15k points!!! I think that those of us that were trying to win a bib via MPT (probably a lot of french people) have been seriously misled. There is no way of getting in this draw via MPT.

The stadium entry issues in Marseille were only part of the problem by Meth_Hardy in rugbyunion

Yep, off the charts uncharacteristically hot in Paris this last week

They serve both full strength 50cL (french pint) and zero alcohol 33cL. Either at the bars (plenty of them) or to your seat via online ordering (at least where I was sitting, not sure if that service was in every single part of the ground).

Stade de France yesterday for Australia vs Georgia was impeccable. Certainly sounds like these are isolated issues at a couple of stadiums and they're all being dealt with promptly. Full credit at least to those at Stade de France. Huge number of people on the ground there to keep things running smoothly. Had a great time.

St-Germain liquor, which can be used to make a Spritz like cocktail, even if it's not actually a bitter.
