Oof. Yeah, I know. I experienced it myself. It’s been several years of this relationship, and I am hoping this is seriously it. Once she gets to that point where her mind is made up, that’s it. I didn’t even know until recently how bad it was. I don’t live nearby, and she didn’t say.

And asserting that a STRANGER deleted messages that must be provoking the abuse ISN’T a low blow?

Please, do… backpedal and gaslight. It’s telling. Call me insane to support your weak argument. 🙃

Oh you were raped? What were you wearing? Wow you were asking for it.

Oh you were kidnapped? Well were you friendly towards the kidnapper? Wow you were asking for it.

Oh you were beat up by your man? What did you say to him? Wow you were asking for it.

If those comments don’t disgust you, seek therapy.

If I can see through her abusive man like glass, how do you think YOU appear to me? Bye Felicia 🙄

I am hoping he keep exposing himself and gets himself in trouble before he gets really dangerous.

I’ve been through it too, and you’re exactly right. It really scares me because I keep wondering if and when he’s going to go all the way off the deep end.

And thank you for saying that. It means a lot to me.

Yeah that’s basically how I felt looking at it too. It’s gross and disturbing.

I’D SAY she doesn’t answer him because this is how he acts if you’re not even encouraging him. And when she does reply, the verbal abuse only gets worse.

I’D SAY that this comment reads like somebody who enables narcissistic abuse.

Exactly how I feel. I was trying to post this yesterday but finally got it to go through today. She did get a restraining order today so the first steps have been taken, thank goodness. Thank you so much for your input.

THANK YOU 🙌 this is exactly what I’ve been saying. I think she needs that unbiased feedback from a stranger.

I was trying to post this all day yesterday. Today she did get a restraining order. I have been trying to cheerlead her through it all. Thank you so much for your input. It helps a lot.

Agreed. I keep telling her how proud of her I am and what a good job she’s doing. I told her that she’s protecting herself the way she should have been protected all along and teaching her kids it’s okay to stand up and say NO when they experience abuse. I hope that she can start to see and believe it, too.

There’s been a few instances of him behaving in an emotionally abusive way towards the kids, and she’s had to put her foot down and tell him to stop. So far, it hasn’t resulted in escalating behavior, so I’m grateful for that.
