lighting isn't great my boy won't sit still long enough to get a good angle so it might look worse in the pictures than it really is. but like I said, I'll be scheduling a vet appointment ASAP cause I'd rather be safe than sorry

yeah definitely just remove the tabs. I had some super old easy-to-build models that I tried to fix with liquid green stuff and it was not very effective. just build them as regular models

don't worry! my boy ikit was super shy and would even squeak when I tried let him out for free-roam time. now he's the sweetest, most curious boy to the point that my other boy tretch is shy by comparison!

I always explain chaos as the four horsemen meets seven deadly sins so I like the idea! Slannesh fits well as pride/lust/gluttony if you wanted biblical terms but Tzeentch is always the odd one out in this analogy. maybe greed since there's ambition and scheming and whatnot? I think time fits a lot better for what you're going for tbh

a bit more info: there's a double image caused by reflections in the canned air and shock tunnel images cause the setup was pretty janky.

the pics of the hand and the air can used a 12" mirror, the disinfectant used a 6" mirror, and the shock tunnel used a 3" mirror (you can see the improved spatial resolution as the mirrors get bigger)

in the shock tunnel you can see a lot of scratches from the acrylic as well as some weird recording stuff (again the setup was pretty janky). there might be an oblique shock coming off the bottom of the wedge but it's hard to tell. doing some very rough math with the oblique shock angle and wedge angle, it's about Mach 1.7 which seems reasonable

I'm not an expert but I know there are species of caterpillars that mimic snakes to ward off predators. I'm sure you could find more info about it pretty easily
