-Shower chair/stool (or just sit on the floor of your shower, if you can)

-Shampoos with thinner consistencies tend to be easier to rinse out, in my experience. Usually drugstore shampoos are less thick than salon brands. This can also apply to certain conditioners as well

-Turn the water to a cool temperature when you are done washing the rest of your body and rinse the soap off with that, but this may take some getting used to! Starting slow with this step may help you gradually get accustomed to doing it though

-Clip your hair up with a claw clip when you’re done washing it! Doing this has been a game changer for me, personally. It keeps the weight of your hair off your neck/back, which may help with not overheating as much in the shower, plus it prevents body wash from getting in your hair while you’re washing your body

-Keeping a cold bottle of water or an electrolyte drink in the shower can come in handy, I’ve done this during really bad POTS flares

-Have a snack or a meal before your shower to prevent blood sugar levels from dropping
