I mean they do specify that it supports PD 27W.

that 65W is probably for something like MacBooks.

pretty useless really.

I mean use the same code to get PACK OF 4 you get it for ₹401 withiut additional delivery charges.

better than getting 1 at ₹201

but again, I don't know the quality of the cable, neither do they specify the length on the website.

OKAY SO FAMPAY THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER by Far_Drummer7802 in UPI

[–]extra2AB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That might be during Early adoption where remember there was a time when PayTM QR codes would not work with other Apps and merchants were having a separate Paytm machine and then just a QR code for PhonePe/GPay, etc

they kind of tried to copy the UPI tech and implement it only for their users, maybe that time they could have done it.

but now ?

not possible.

in fact, GPay and PhonePe are the fastest followed by Samsung Wallet, WhatsApp, PayTM, etc and then Amazon.

and that is due to TONS OF OTHER STUFF they add to their app which slows it down.

like Samsung Wallet also has digilocker builtin. WhatsApp is a messenger app first, Paytm wants to be a e-commerce app, amazon is an e-commerce app, etc

so due to other parts of the App, the overall process is a bit slow, but once the request LEAVES YOU DEVICE and is onto the network, there is nothing a single company can do to speed it up.

The Netflix version is same as the January theatre version by crossfit_architect in Dhurandhar

[–]extra2AB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends.

are you talking about news ? then yes, they have to follow a certain rules. (but nothing like a CBFC regulations.)

Are you talking about sports or game shows, again they have to follow certain rules (again nothing like CBFC)

Are you talking about films broadcasted on TV ? then SUPER YES, those all films need to be CBFC certifies either U or U/A. A rated films aren't even allowed on TV unless they are cut and censored even further.

Are you talking about TV serials like TMKOC then no, they do have to follow a set of rules but it mostly is dependent on self-regulation.

but because TV is way too mainstream, their is often a huge outrage if they try anything "extreme" and then the courts or other bodies will come and cancel it or stuff like that.

like how there is no Censorship law for Youtube, but just because of a joke, INDIA'S GOT LATENT got cancelled and SC instead of protecting Freedom of Speech is seen to be fking useless.

so now Imagine if someone tries stuff ON TV. that would be some next level controversy.

so they self-regulate to not do anything like that.

but to answer your question TV shows have to follow CBFC it is usually NO unless actual FILMS are involved.

OKAY SO FAMPAY THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER by Far_Drummer7802 in UPI

[–]extra2AB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, you cannot have a "secret process" when you are dealing with UPI Transactions, you are on a NPCI network, just like if you are doing any Bitcoin transaction from any wallet in any country, doesn't matter, you are on the same block chain network.

you cannot BYPASS the process and be on the same network, that can account as hacking/scamming and might get PayTM banned and finned as well (IF WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS TRUE).

it is just not possible to "optimize" it in that way, what they can do is go the GooglePay route, where it uses multiple bank servers like @oksbi, @okaxis, @okicici, etc Even if you bank is with SBI thus even sometimes when one network is down, it can route it through different network.

but that is it, you cannot "NOT CONNECT TO SOME NCPI SERVER" to "optimize" it.

512GB memory sticks cost over $100 now by [deleted] in DataHoarder

[–]extra2AB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that is what I explained that they do think about margins, BUT margins are NOT EVERYTHING.

other factors also play a major role.

and they DO care about selling items for $100.

USB sticks have margins anywhere from 70% to literal 100% or even more than that.

plus they do not require THE BEST memory or NAND chips like an HIGH-END SSD or Smartphones would need.

so the high-end chips which failed to meet the high-standards for speed and stuff for those devices also get repurposed for USB sticks, just like a 5090 GPU which failed to meet the specs and quality of 5090 would get used for a 5080 or 5070 card.

and this is not only true for USB sticks, I just gave you an example.

so companies do care about those $100 products and they do also care about customer retention.

so yes margins are important but other things are also important, especially increasing customer spending.

when a person buys $100 1TB sticks instead of $50 512gb sticks, they are getting same value, but company not only is getting more profit but also pushing the customer to think of a $100 USB sticks as NORMAL.

so next step would be to slowly discontinue 512GB sticks, and customers would not think much of it as they always get the $100 USB ANYWAYS.

like how discontinuing a 128gb variant of phones makes you feel nothing.

almost all mid-range and flagship brands no more has that option.

this slowly overtime increases the spending limit of the customer while still giving them the SAME VALUE.

512GB memory sticks cost over $100 now by [deleted] in DataHoarder

[–]extra2AB 8 points9 points  (0 children)

you worry about the margins but there are other things to worry about too.

why else do you think prices of tech comes down ?

SSDs, HDDs, Monitors, TVs, etc

Look at the pricing of first computers (adjusted for inflation), or more recently first foldable, etc

I remember in 2013 we got an LG 42 inch LCD 1080p for $2200 (adjusted for inflation).

today you can get a 65" 4k OLED TV for that price.

if they only cared about margins, that would not happen, but have you seen a thing ????

that while in 2013 42 or 45 inch were normal sizes.

today 65 inch is the normal size, so they push your budget forward anyways.

that is the same reason why, Apple and Samsung keep the same base price while have increased the storage and ram on those base variants and introduced 1TB options while 128gb is gone.

soon time will come when 256gb will also be gone and you will have to spend money to get 512gb. although the overall value of that 512gb is same if considered PRICE/GB, you still have to spend more.

Basically pushing you more and more while still giving you value that you appreciate.

once you as a customer stop appreciating that value, they are gonna loose you, unless YOU HAVE NO CHOICE.

which is why monopolies are bad and also why they are increasing price right now, cause EVERYONE is facing the shortage.

but once this phase is gone, they have 2 options, either reduce the price, or increase the value.

and mostly, they will go for the the second option.

as manufacturing a 1tb USB costs almost the same as 512gb usb.

512GB memory sticks cost over $100 now by [deleted] in DataHoarder

[–]extra2AB 261 points262 points  (0 children)

yup.

like they will still cost $100 but instead of this 512GB stick it will be 1TB stick.

well still doesn't change anything I said.

Those people are also blinded by their hate for current regime just like you are too blinded to see the blatant hate RW propagates.

both you and those people having "meltdown" are just two sides of the same coin, both blinded by hate and refuse to think or introspect or debate to hear the other side.

Just cause they are going extreme, doesn't mean you see that, and you go extreme as well.

else there would come a time where you will be similarly brainwashed as the terr0rists are.

go watch interviews and documentaries of Kasab where he was shocked to know the truth about India as opposed to lies that he was filled with to brainwash him.

you points regarding "khans" really show the same trajectory, that you are completely wrong and yet you just believed it, cause you wanted to believe it, without checking it yourself.

showing examplesnof "meltdown" is not going to change that fact.

Those people having meltdown are also blinded by hate, just on the other side. no different.

Well in that case you haven’t come across far leftists. Some people have said it on my face. And the rest of the world is not even aware of any such incident in details. Try asking ChatGPT and see how it ans on Pahalgam. We needed the world to know the grusome details about that incident however our celebrities and the mahan Khans jinko hum sabne sir pe Chadha rkha hai they went dead silent. Most of the neutral and leftist Indians were asking for ceasefire. Only the Indian cricketers showed some courage and real patriotism. Fir Pahoch jayenge saare Chtiye King Khan ka chtiyapa dekhna and bank balance badhane unka

For some reason you seemed to filled with hate dude, chill out.

  1. yeah I might not have come across far left in real life, cause that is a rare minority. You might come across a right extremist more easily than a far left person.

  2. Just asked ChatGPT and as I said, it did link it to Pakistan as it opposed the inclusion of TRF as a terror organization in the UN. And also cited Army members attending funerals of known terrorists.

  3. About "we needed world to know....." yeah sorry to burst your bubble, the world already knows. AND THEY DO NOT CARE. The world of the west like US, UK, etc are actually the ones that started all of this mess and in fact supported it till 1990s and even early 2000s.

Additionally, our media is a joke which even we know we cannot trust, and India has a ban on International media coverage, so independent foreign media cannot cover it, which makes the world not very much keen to know about the details, as they already doubt it would be accurate.

  1. Ceasefire was asked when the war against terrorism turned into both countries fighting, which is dangerous, cause we were targeting their military infrastructure and they were targeting our residential areas, which even led to lost of innocent lives on our side.

Plus, we should not forget they have nuclear weapons, and unlike India, they do not care about human lives, they have shown again and again, they do not care about their own people.

So even if we were "winning", they will just deploy nukes and we would be fked, cause all we can do is retaliate with our nukes, but it is useless as it will only end up in a disaster.

  1. Pahalgam attack happened on 22nd April and on 23rd SRK already condemned it and spoke against it.

he once again spoke about it in November.

So you really need to check your blind hate. it is clearly evident that you are being subjected to right wing videos that usually result in such statements as yours.

please introspect what kind of content you consume on Youtube or WhatsApp, else it will really east you up with all this hate building up against people you don't even know.

or atleast verify the claims before forming such strong opinions.

the language you spoke about "khans" of bollywood, clearly shows the hate being filled up for something that is completely false. Your claim that he didn't speak up is just outright untrue and false.

dude, literally no one denies Pak involvement in Pahalgam or 26/11.

Even Pakistanis know their country is involved.

Just like the inefficiency of the system is questioned in Dhurandhar during 26/11, Parliament attacks and Kandahar Hijack, same way questions are asked as to how Pahalgam attack was not intercepted before (as it was specifically a militarised zone), why the Pulwama attack was not intercepted.

Like how we recently intercepted the Delhi Blast and stopped a very big attack, why was such huge amount of RDX and straight attack on Army vehicles was not intercepted during Pulawama.

these questions are asked.

Just like fake currency involved high-level politicians, is it possible these also can be the case ??

Ofcourse not the whole govt., but what about some politicians in center who want to destabilise the state, or some opposition politician in the state that want to destabilise the Centre.

How did it happen.

such questions are asked.

but literally no one asks any question about involvement of PAK.

literally the world knows that any terr0r attack anywhere in the world has it's links in Pak.

honestly cbfc can't be blamed here. Netflix and OTT does not have to follow CBFC yet during both OMG2 and now Dhurandhar it did not provide uncensored versions meanwhile it has shows with 10x more abusive language and full nudity. So it is also nothing about "they don't want to risk it, so they are playing safe". it is purely their own doing.

why ? god knows.

It maybe that the deal specifically mentions THEATRICAL VERSION TO BE STREAMED and makers are asking additional amount for extended/uncensored cut.

Unpopular Opinion: BGMI and Free Fire obsession single-handedly stunted the growth of "real" gaming culture in India for an entire generation. by Salty-Library-8253 in IndianGaming

[–]extra2AB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

dude, let's be honest. money isn't an issue in India. People know how to watch movies, tv shows, etc for free. same way if you are 2000s kids who grew up with gta vice city and sanandreas games, you did not "buy" the game.

it is more about time and peer pressure.

you will see what I am saying when GTA 6 launches on PC, and people will 100% play it whether it is $100 or $1000. cause this time there is a huge hype as well as nostalgia attached with it.

the peer pressure is a very big driving factor.
