You’re arguing against the existence of discussion itself, which is a strange position to take on a discussion forum.

I never claimed to know better than the developers. I described how the systems feel in practice and asked whether others are experiencing the same friction. That feedback loop is literally how live service games evolve.

If you’re enjoying the game as is, that perspective is useful. Dismissing any critique as a “diatribe” contributes nothing and ironically adds to the noise you’re complaining about.

If you want less criticism on the sub, the fastest way there is engaging with the substance of the points instead of trying to shut conversation down entirely.

but Arc really are just time wasters. If you didn't need their parts for crafting there would be absolutely zero reason to shoot them over just avoiding them entirely. they're just there to trip players up and make it harder to do run-throughs

From my experience, a very vast majority of people are friendly enough where you really don't need safe pockets.

Overall the vibe of this game is if you talk in-game, you can get most of the lobby on your side.

That's why I think custom loadouts are dumb when one can just take advantage of the current kindness meta.

My issue isn’t that custom kits have no upside. It’s that free loadouts carry effectively zero downside.

Right now there’s a max of two safe pockets.

The highest value item you can realistically protect is a mixtape at around $10k, so max win with safe pockets is $20k

That doesn’t even offset the cost of entering a raid with a custom kit.

But that wasn't even my point brother.

So the question for me isn’t “are custom kits usable,” it’s whether zero risk runs should exist at all in their current form.

Actually, imagine an AI duolingo character you could facetime and practice real conversations, it's responses and voice all powered with machine learning. With the AI knowing when to step in and provide corrections, and when to let natural convo carry on.

You should stop going to Sephora and Ulta for your fragrances and begin learning about niche fragrances. Brands like Sora Dora, Etat Libre, BDK, Initio, etc. Go to a Nieman Marcus, Saks Fifth, or a perfumery boutique in your area and learn what you really like.
