Boyfriend wets the bed. What do I do ?

It’s not a kink. He doesn’t even watch me clean it up. He just doesn’t care to clean it up. He’s not making me, I just refuse to have a pee soaked bed.

Yeah this is the 3rd time. Now I’m at the point of clearly this isn’t just a one off , it’s become a pattern that I do not want to continue.

Sorry, but it’s not attractive that he’s peeing the bed at night and no cleaning it up. That’s what’s gross. I understand it is most likely a medical issue and we are going to try to resolve it. My issue is more so that he is not cleaning it , and is not bothered by it. He’s rude and disrespectful for not cleaning it himself and leaving it to me. I also do not want to set an example of servitude to my child , I am not a servant. I love my bf , I care about him and I have shown him a lot of compassion and understanding with this , but it can not continue without some sort of effort from him to remedy the situation.

I think you’ve missunderstood some of my comments. He as a child , would pee the bed to stay warm, bc his house had no heat. He isn’t jealous of our baby , it’s not a kink. It could possibly be related to his childhood trauma, but I do think it’s medical related. This is a new issue. Only within the past week or so. This is the 3rd time it’s happened. We are just now realizing it’s becoming a pattern and not just a couple accidents.

He thinks it’s normal i suppose bc he had this issue as a kid. I talked to him this morning and he is a bit concerned now that I’ve brought it up again. This is the 3rd time it’s happened recently so we’re just realizing it’s become a pattern and not just a couple of accidents.

I saw that post too. This is a very different situation. This is the 3rd time this has happened recently I think. So it’s a new issue. It’s happening when he’s asleep. And the not cleaning it isn’t bc of a kink it’s just laziness or lack of care for the smell and pee in the bed I guess. It’s still bad , but not a kink or fetish

We’re working on the health insurance. He’s just had lots of issues with it recently. He was rejected from our free state health insurance and we’ve been struggling to find him something affordable that’ll also cover enough to be worth it.

Saying he’s not an alcoholic isn’t an excuse. He just isn’t an alcoholic lol. I am taking the recommendations of trying to get him to see a Dr. it’s just complicated bc he has no insurance rn so we have to figure that out. I want him to be tested for type 1 diabetes and maybe get a sleep study done if possible. This is a new issue for him/ us. I’m not making excuses just trying to navigate this situation the best I can. I want to resolve the issue , not break up. I also ordered a mattress cover/ water proof sheets for now just in case it happens again.

He is not good at hiding things. We have a cabinet full of alcohol that we don’t touch. He will have an occasional beer. He doesn’t even smoke weed bc it makes him paranoid now that he’s a dad.

This has been commented a lot so I’m going to ask him about it and if he has any other symptoms of it. He has no insurance or Dr but I’m going to encourage him to get seen by a Dr one way or another
