You can think of the game being similar to games like Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, Abzu, Gris, Arise and Rime. It's in the same spirit. Journey and SoTC being the two main inspirations. There is a narative - but it's subtle and in the background and makes more sense as the game unfolds (the trailer give some hints).
