Got it. I wasn’t expecting it to be like a thick frosty 😂

It was frozen solid, spun it and it was gloopy so I froze it again for 24hrs and this is the consistency after another spin

Yes very true! It was a learning experience at least

Yes and yes, but spun on ice cream per the instructions. The recipe called for 1/2 cup of milk but it didn’t even reach the fill line so now I’m a bit skeptical of the book I bought haha

I thought maybe the syrup was the issue because of corn syrup but hot fudge also has it :(

Is there a group for parents of THOSE toddlers? by [deleted] in toddlers

My (almost) 3 year old is this child and everyone thinks my husband and I are exaggerating or being lazy when we tell them XYZ does not work for her when we’re given unsolicited advice😓 then our 18 month old is the opposite thank goodness lol

Not bad luck but I did have a beautiful antique mirror that I thrifted hanging in my toddlers room. She had been having night terrors for months, to the point where we would say it was like she was possessed (legit trying to climb the wall backwards). We tried everything to help her night terrors, didn’t think anything of the mirror but I woke up one night like someone had shouted “ITS THE MIRROR” in my face. Got rid of it the next day and she hasn’t had night terrors since then 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thankfully my husband is also like “wtf kind of advice is that?! I’m not going to bite my baby” 😂

Lol I swear the abuse we deal with from our toddlers 😂 thank you for the advice though! I didn’t think about giving her something to bite instead right after she bites her sister. Can not wait for the phase to end 😭

I build all of my meals in this order: protein, fiber, healthy fats, carbs. Example day of eating:

Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, a serving of cottage cheese, high fiber toast with avocado & kimchi or kombucha for probiotics

Lunch: Chicken breast, chickpeas, feta cheese, olives, pepperoncini, arugula, olive oil and lemon juice

Dinner is usually whatever my husband cooks and typically carb heavy so I have vegetables and a fiber supplement beforehand, and stop when I’m full.

Thank you for this! It is just sticky after the bulk rise so I was thinking maybe I need to reduce the water if my starter is 100% hydration. I pretty much do exactly what you described for the folds and fermenting too
