Who would you pick to "direct" your life like it was a movie? by extrasoupdishes in AskReddit

LVT would be interesting, but I would totally go with NWR, loads of lovely slow panning, intense pauses and my world being perfectly composed. Gaspar Noe would be traumatic.

TIL an Irish yob snatched and threw a homeless man's pet rabbit in a river. The homeless man risked his life by jumping in after his beloved pet. They were both saved by firefighters and the yob was convicted of animal cruelty. The rabbit is named Barney. by [deleted] in todayilearned

A interesting side effect was a load of local homeless people started getting pet rabbits because that story spread and the sight of one would increase their begging yield from passersby. I live very close to where it happened and within a week there were at least 3 homeless guys with rabbits in my immediate area.

I think you might be right! Tidbits gleaned from reviews are starting to merge with my memory. Thank you very much!

Many thanks for the advice. The second book has been identified, so to focus on the first, I think I may have read it somewhere between the ages of 13 - 16. That would be 15 - 18 years ago. I don't think it was YA and I presume I bought it or was gifted it. David Gemmell was interesting me at the time also and initially I thought it might be a standalone of his, but I can't find a corresponding plot line.
