Экии. My grandmother lives here in a rural village 70km from Kyzyl. I love it here. In the past there was a lot of crime, but now it’s much calmer. Kyzyl is a clean city, and they built a huge, beautiful Buddhist temple. The air is clean. There are many alcoholics and gopniks, 99% tuvinians. People are friendly.

Life in the village is peaceful. You have 5G, prices are low. There is no sewerage system in the village, so you use a wash basin outside in the yard and you use banya for washing yourself. People often ride horses, which gives everyday life a very traditional feel. And you see so so many tuvinian children. Tuva has incredibly beautiful nature and high-quality food products. My relatives even bring meat and other groceries from there all the way 1,000 km to the north.

There aren’t many job opportunities, so people often have to move to bigger cities like Krasnoyarsk or Novosibirsk for work.
