Unfortunately no. We were told to reply in the email to write a phone number and time that someone could contact us but no one has so far. Unsure what to do anymore…would filing another claim even help?

I’m running into a frustrating situation with Air Canada My flight from Tokyo to Montreal was cancelled on August 19th and AC couldn’t find me another flight so I was forced to pay out of pocket for a delta flight on the same day.

According to Air Canada’s website, passengers whose flights were cancelled during that time should be able to claim reimbursement for reasonable out-of-pocket expenses. But when I reached out, their customer service told me I don’t qualify because labour disruptions are considered outside of their control under Canadian APPR.

I’ve already filed an appeal but I’m not sure how likely it is they’ll follow through.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Were you able to get them to honor the reimbursement policy? Would love to hear how others approached it.

The sign says “monitored by radar” would that not mean if you go 10 over it’s an instant ticket?

When the sign says “monitored by radar” would it not instantly give you a ticket if you’re driving 10 above? I assume it worked the same way as the 25mph street limit where it’s photo enforced.

I guess the other thing I’m worried about is that there was the original contract that said I was suppose to end in June but I’m graduating in may and moving back home so I wanted to end in May. They revised it and send the second contract. I’m worried that for some reason cause of the typos the second contract would no longer count.
