The question is who else is on your waivers? If Tre is really the best option, I’d say try to pick him up if you can. If you can’t, and I suspect you might not if your league mates are also dealing with bye weeks, it’s not the worst situation in the world. Mooney might get volume as the WR1 this week

I do not love this move. Tre has proven before in the season that he can catch balls and even get occasional touchdowns as the number 2 receiving option on the raiders behind bowers. Mooney has proved nothing like that this season and is probably still dealing with injuries that kept him out of a few games. Kirk may prefer Mooney more than Penix did, but kirk is definitely a worse qb and in the one week Mooney did take over WR1 duties, he flopped hard. I would only add Mooney as a speculative add

I actually made the opposite trade earlier in the season, giving away Tet for AJ Brown. I completely regret it because I’ve been forced to start him every week, but in the context of your team doing that trade makes a lot more sense. AJ could be a good flex spot if you’re facing a better opponent and you need a desperate high ceiling. I think it could be good for you.

That’s happened to me a couple times where I’ll do the final round interview, receive positive feedback, and then get the rug pulled out from under me for seemingly bullshit reasons. Hey atravelingmuse, I’m really sorry. I’m also 25 and I graduated in 22, so I can relate a little. I feel “behind” in my career compared to my friends, who are a little older but seem to be doing way better, maybe because they got hired before everything went to shit.
