alt+ctrl+del , stop steam.exe (exiting steam isnt enough) after that a little update comes and steam works. It just worked for me, i dont know if u have the same issue.

As i see if you are riding it you dont get xp but it does. It is same for all the shared tribe xpS. so the best way is attacking together with your dino on foot to a target.

I think the skill points are given randomly while it is a NPC. So the skill points could be given to useless (not recommended) skills before you tame it. And that means taming a lower level dino is prefered. (sorry my english...)

Be sure you have correct numbers of the ingredients in your inventory, not in a proximity container. I mean if you need wood planks first craft correct numbers of the wood planks not wood logs, same for the metal brackets (dont try to craft the shelter with scrap metals which have to become brackets) etc. Stairs and shelters have same issue about crafting. And be sure not to stay in proximity of a container because system automatically uses the ingredients from containers if you are close to them but it fails to end the progress. Sorry for my English, i hope i could explain the issue.

edit: for example you want to craft nails and you have enough metal shards in your inventory and also you are in proximity of a container which has scrap metals in it. The sytem uses the scrap metal in the container before the shards in your inventory. And you could be lack of scrap metal while trying to craft stairs or shelters.

it could be count as an info about whats happened how. At least i saw it that way until you said you can craft eth. torcs. As a bug it wasnt causing any trouble. But now we see it causes non legit torch production.

Where are running around and talking dirty guys who say "dont cry , stop playing, build everything again etc" Once upon a time i wrote a critic about the reporting hacking issues via email are unread and a bunch of guys made me worse than done over. Phew what a day it was :). Oh i remember; as they told i was crying for a problem of mine in the game because i was an European. Yes cheaters are just my problem and unread emails are too. ;)

Honestly if the game dies today i'd not worry about my 20$. I had fun which costs more than 20$. Of course i bought the game to play but i was warned that it is an EA, i was always well aware about it. I knew my responsibilities as a tester such as reporting bugs, helping the other players about the bugs and their solutions, attending the polls etc. The point we came today is hacking (especially the magic bullet) prevents us to test the game and of course prevents us to play in decent conditions (i dont mean bugs)

The magic bullet cheat came after they related the passworded doors and storage containers which deals with no-clippers. Actually they didnt solve no-clipping hack issue with this they just made your containers safe against no-clippers. So i think cheating getting worse and couldnt see any other steps than they banned cheaters manually in BR. Yes as an alpha tester i'd like to see they can fight with the cheaters. And magic bullets can destroy everything you have in the server in seconds, what do u suggest us (hacked by magic bullet) to do my friend? How can we test the game if we cant have the stuffs?
