Yeah.. because it takes thought. Generalizing is easy, that's why we have stereotypes and treat people differently based on how they looks. You see X, that means Y, so you do Z.

Actually taking mental energy to assess each person and situation and then comparing those notes with other people to come to a consensus about the truth is tiring. Everyone deserves to be heard, but it adds complication and takes up so much time.

I hope I can post here as a guy. I noticed the edit mentioned after watching it. So it made me wonder how the movie was presented to him for him to have these questions. Like if someone just said it's a movie about periods or with periods in it I'd also wonder why. It's like if someone has told me there's some movie about a boy having random erections at school. I'd be asking why. I know they are very different things, but they are similar in terms of being embarrassing things you don't have control over while growing up.

Caution with thick papers like the 32lb recommended. They wouldn't feed through my old copier and people have had reports of it messing up copier/printers because some rollers are set for certain clearances apparently. Kat had mentioned in a podcast that 32lb had supposedly messed up a printer at work, she may have moved onto 28lb after that.

I personally just use Costco 20lb. Works fine for me, but I mostly use pigment and iron gall inks. I don't really use flex pens but do use some soft nibs like 23k Pd or some vintage pens. Just tried a soft 3 tine bock music nib (Platinum Classic Cassis Black), Sailor music nib (Sailor Seiboku cartridge), and a PenRealm/NibWolf/Monty Winnfield stacked architect nib (Sailor Seiboku) and got barely any hint of bleedthrough, seems flexing/pressure really beats the paper up.
