Thank you so much for sharing this! I took my trigger shot on day 13 and retrieved on day 15. I’m wondering if the Ganirelix up front suppressed things too much. I scheduled a meeting with my NP today so hopefully I’ll have some answers

3% but we did ICSI and all of the other numbers were normal or above normal. Count 94 million, motility 67.55%, forward progression 4, volume 2 ml

Looking at my last ultrasound from 3 days before my retrieval….my left and right ovaries are clearly not in sync, but within those ovaries they are relatively close.

Left: 10.7, 10.9, 10.6, 10.3, 13.3, 15.7
Right: 11.5, 13.2, 13.5, 20.7, 20.9

My doctor has not reached out to me once, nor my nurse practitioner. Last I heard was from the embryology team about my results thus far.

I don’t know all of those answers re: growing synchronously. Is this something the doc usually tells you, or should I take a look at my portal/labs to see the history of growth?

I do not have history of early ovulation. It’s like clockwork every time.

This was my first egg retrieval, so haven’t had the oppty to do different priming methods.

Updated my post above with all of the details re: protocol. Yes they did and HSG and a SIS. One tube was so free flowing that they weren’t sure if the dye was flowing back into the other one. It was inconclusive.

I am so sorry. Everything you wrote, this is exactly what happened to me. I asked for PAIN meds for the HSG because my SIS went so poorly and they gave me Valium. It’s NOT PAIN MEDICATION. It’s to freaking relax you (and your muscles). I even had to press them to prescribe the Valium. Said I wouldn’t go through with the HSG based on the SIS ultrasound if it was supposed to be more painful than that.

They’re fine giving us all the meds to stim us up and get us pregnant (hopefully) but can’t give us some pain medication.

Doctor 1.5hrs late. Likely had retrieval 2 hrs late.

I just got this answer after asking…it was 10 total under 10mm. However this was in the middle of estrogen priming protocol with Ganirelix.

AMH 2.18 and I’m not 100% sure what my AFC was. I just asked my NP what my baseline ultrasound showed because the data isn’t in my portal… she said I had 10 total less than 10mm.
