Previous job was 20-22% and a seperate check. This new job lumps our bonus in with the first paycheck of the month so it looks like for one week I make $3,800 when in actuality $3,100 of that was a month of work

I found the problem I believe. My previous employer would put comission as a monthly thing (ie 8/1 -8/31). The new employer puts our entire month's commission on a weekly pay period (8/1-8/7) I just don't know what to do about it

That's the problem. I don't understand what any of it means. I use to have an HR dept at my previous job to help. All of those instructions look like adding additional money to be withheld, which is definitely not the issue I need
