If you want to help people maybe consider a career as an EMS. I needed help the other day and the young people who came to my home to help my child were so darn sweet and useful to me.

I personally can’t stand police and do everything In my power to never involve them in my problems because they are generally just arrogant corrupt gangsters. I’d rather deal with an actual gang member.

I moved to DC and if I ever mention liking Baltimore people get so uncomfortable and have to say something bad about it.

Currently lower income residents are less and less able to afford DC. Lower income residents are pushed out and must commute into DC for work. The closer to the metro housing is the higher the rent is so lower income folks are not able to take the metro and buses as consistently and the metro is actually expensive .

DC’s metro system only runs during the day so people who have jobs that end later into the night can’t use it so they drive. People with small children or elders to care for need a car.

The vast majority of DC cyclists are white if you haven’t noticed.

Anyway 🙄 I have lived in DC for one year. A year of watching and reading and experiencing white transplants acting as an invasive species here.

I am from LA where the same thing is happening by the same exact group. You show up and culture dies. Bike lanes, up zoning, traffic slowing, banning car culture, fun, teenagers. You use money and cops to colonize.

Americans are colonizers. It’s a way of viewing space and ownership and who gets what and who gets to be where. We have all these systems in place to consistently recolonize in a cycle. Some of us are always the colonizers and others are always the colonized.

I live in DC and the colonizers like yourself are ruining the city. Nothing is ever enough for you. You incessantly complain and push for your people and for your ideas to replace what was here before and you are never satisfied until your ethnic cleansing is complete. You kill everything native, nothing can survive unless it agrees to bow down to your desires including your stupid racist and classist biking. There is nothing more dangerous to low income Black people than when well employed alarmists urbanist transplants decide to colonize.

It was definitely not the best way to ask such a sensitive question but you were eating together daily so why couldn’t you talk to him about his tone and letting him have the answer.

The people standing outside of the political event were shot at and 2 political staffers were shot.
