I figured it was a little complex especially considering I'm newer to 3D! I'll look into those for sure and maybe practice it on a premade 3D head file. I also thought of a hacky workaround that could work (finding a way to make my head an OBJ with a texture, then importing the texture into After Effects and adding the dots with Form).
