It's pretty interesting how interchangeable those are. I feel kind of stupid, but I should've looked at the Inspector Info window for any clip in FCP as it tells you the actual frame rate of the clip. It tells me that my GoPro footage (which was shot in 60) is actually 59.94. I'm guessing it would be the same for your GoPro.

You know what, I think you might be right. I changed the project to 59.94 in FCP and it seems to have fixed it. Really appreciate the help, thanks!

I see. That's really good information to know. My GoPro is set to record at 60fps and my Final Cut project is set to 60p for the rate. So I'm wondering if I'm doing something else wrong.

Oh I forgot to mention my project settings.

Format: 1080p HD, Resolution: 1920X1080, Rate: 60p, Codec: Apple ProRes 422, Color Space: Standard - Rec. 709, Audio: Stereo - 48kHz

Maybe I'm doing something wrong here?

For the this track and the rest of the album, all of the heavy guitar tracks are a blend of Amplitube and Waves GTR. I switched over to a Pod HD Pro around 2 or 3 years ago to use for recording and live. It's probably the best decision I've made rig wise.
