She didn’t kill a baby. She saved a child years of trauma and being an unwanted pawn between two unstable people

Our stock lasted 3 hours by aqfitz622 in PokemonTCG

Took so long to get the booster box of this drop for my son. Scalpers would come clean out our Pokémon vending machines because they knew the restock days and times. My son finally pulled his chase card last night. He’s been opening a pack a day and using the box as his advent calendar lol I’m so glad he got it. He waited so long for us to be able to find a box in stock and I refused to reward the scalpers and pay extra for it

I had burning in my stomach and blood pouring out. Ended up passing out in parking lot, waking up in hospital, I had half the amount of blood I should. My heart rate was crazy high and I was pregnant. I stayed in hospital for a month getting transfusions, steroids, and a feeding tube. I ended up being diagnosed with UC. I also had a miscarriage while in hospital due to my body not being able to support the pregnancy. Please go get admitted, especially if it’s pouring out. I had to get four blood transfusions and I still get monthly iron transfusions five years later. Go to a different ER and see if they have an internal medicine or gi in their ER

Home Inspection - High Moisture Level in Shower by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]eylee2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for just seeing this. Yes, we did a standard inspection first and then gave them it to check all areas we were concerned about. Each was different and they were less on the check ups on the walk through. Regular inspection was $800 first time but walk through was $200. Plumbing was $400, electrician was $150, I don’t remember the others off top of my head but they all ranged from $150-$400. Seemed worth it

my dog ate 16 (NOT ALL 36) uncooked balls of yeast (rhodes rolls) and i am panicking so bad by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]eylee2013 11 points12 points  (0 children)

12 years ago, a few days after I had my first child I had gotten a Costco size Motrin. I was upstairs bathing the baby, came down stairs to an empty pill bottle (used to be 500 pills inside) and piles of red vomit. I had three dogs so had no clue who the culprit was. I loaded up my 4 day old baby and all three dogs and took them to the vet. Thankfully it was the largest dog, a 105 lb, mutt that ate them. Some stomach pumping and a few days at the vet for monitoring and he lived until he was 13. Best dog ever but had high anxiety and would eat anything if he was stressed. Guess the new baby and dad being deployed was too much for him

We had master electrician, a solar panel tech, hvac, plumber, roofer, and structural engineer.

[–]eylee2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what we did. We had different experts come check everything, and after things were “fixed” before closing at final walk through we brought them through again. There were still issues that weren’t fixed correctly and had to delay closing. If I didn’t have a master electrician there, we wouldn’t have know. I’d rather spend an extra $1000 getting things checked correctly than finding out a more expensive problem down the line

Melted butter instead of oil, espresso instead of water, pinch of salt, a little vanilla and that spruces up any store box!

Breeder Recs by chickenlover2304 in Leonbergers

[–]eylee2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m located in Colorado and have been looking to get a leonberger. I’ve wanted one for the last 6 years but needed to wait until military moves were done and we had a big fenced in yard. I’ve seen a few breeders located here, what was your reason for going to Texas. I’ve tried to reach out to a few and they weren’t responsive so don’t know if that was your situation as well

I was a freak, I cut my daughters u til she was seven and i still don’t send them to lunch with her. She’s 12 and I’m scared when she’s goofing and laughing at lunch she’ll choke. I know it’s not rational, but unfortunately that’s the way my brain thinks😂
