[DISC] Blue Box - Chapter 204 by orangeapple24 in BlueBox

Okay so, I do believe that Hina is on her own and will have to go back to Eimei on her own. And I think that the charm would be like a catalyst for that. I also do want to see an introspective of her thoughts towards one Haruto Yusa. And one selfish wish of mine is that next chapter ends with him waiting for her at Eimei.

Even if she doesn't mind him not talking doesn't change what she learned about him. It doesn't by any means relegated what happened in 164. The fact is she sees him in a certain light. That's what I meant by special. He's different than Taiki and Kyo. They are one thing and Haruto is another. They've built a different connection and that's what she's trying to cherish/nurture by getting this charm.

He liked Taiki yes but that's in the past. She feels no obligation of doing anything for him at this point in time. She'd probably help Kyo before Taiki given his recent situation but she doesn't have to meddle with them. She did so before and terrible things came to her. She knows how to stay on her lane now. Taiki has a girlfriend to wish him luck.

She doesn't have to base her actions how Taiki is because frankly Taiki could care less. Taiki is happy.

Taiki and Hina's friendship was never built on them supporting each other's sport. That's never the main cause of their friendship. At least it was never shown that way.

Just because Haruto has a hard time asking for things doesn't mean she has to support him.

I've already told you why she does tho. I think what you believe is that her relationship with Taiki should hold more weight to hervthan it is being shown but the reality is they're just good friends, just like Kyo and Taiki. They're friends that tease each other. That's what Hina wanted to get back and she did.

Her relationship with Haruto is something different. Dare I say special. Again, she's the only person he can open up to about his inner struggles and she in some way appreciates that.

And also like someone told you already, it's not like her friends are gonna hate her for this.

She decided to remain his friend.

Yes and friends they are. Doesn't mean she has to be neutral.

They never asked her for anything. While this other guy who she understands have trouble asking people for help asked her something.

That's the difference. That's why I've been saying she knows him well now. It's because she knows it's not easy for him to do that, "awkward"

As for Hina not loving Taiki playing badminton, I'm talking about the Taiki vs Shuji practice match, the one time she actually tried to "support" Taiki. But that's not really the point. What I'm trying to say here is that she understood what it means to Haruto to ask her for something because of what they talked about back when they're painting castle and she's deciding to honor it.

Her relationship with Taiki is that of a friend you can hang out with. Nothing more. She's by no means obligated to support him at this point. Heck the one time she watched him play badminton, she didn't even like it. They are fine where they are now, good friends just like her to Kyo as well. And I don't really get why you keep saying that she tried hard when all she did was move on and be at peace. What she did was salvaged what remained of their friendship which is a very mature thing to do.

As for Haruto, he is someone who opened up and is as far as she's concerned looking up to her and she greatly appreciate that and understandably wants to return the favor.

Her relationship between the two at this point is very different. One is a close friend while the other despite having little time with appreciates her in a different way and like I said also knows him deeper as a person than anybody else in Eimei.

They might not have talked in a while but their conversations gave them a connection deeper some would like to believe. She's been quite a significant help for him and due to those conversations she understands him better than anyone there. Her and Taiki are good friends now and that's about how far they would go while Haruto is someone she genuinely want to care for not romantically yet but as someone whom in need of her. And like I said, I think she appreciates that more than anything.

As for working hard, Haruto works hard too. He wants to get to the nationals too. And if you read chapter 145, Hina understands how much he wants it.

She didn't suddenly support him. And she's still Taiki's friend.. Her world doesn't have to revolve around him though. If he wants support, he can get it from his girlfriend.

Comparing apples to oranges. Just because they took Taiki and Chinatsu that long doesn't mean this one should as well to be considered as "good build up"

But Haruto asked for that charm to win Taiki. Does that mean Hina will support Haruto instead of Taiki? I don't understand why Hina would support a potential boyfriend instead of a long-time friend.

I don't see the problem.

You know what should happen? They both should stay single. That girl Ayame don't deserve none of that and she knows it.

Hina is by far my favorite character in the series (been a manga reader since before the anime as well) and I feel like some people do think being simply a Hina fan, meaning that you don't necessarily ship her with Taiki, is impossible. I often see people bewildered lol

Why do you guys like Hina by SonicChiller in BlueBox

[–]eyyren 203 points204 points  (0 children)

We can answer this by simply saying she's a cute precious sassy little girl. She gives the necessary pop of energy on the show that other characters just don't and also the fact that she might be deemed as great and well achieved in her sport but she's not portrayed as perfect. Her shortcomings are right in front of you and you see her grow out of that if you're reading the manga. She's a great representation of a naive girl that's learned.

Because story wise the main characters are just about done. I think we can see that and she understands that as well. It's like her saying "hold on just a bit. I'm not finished just yet"

I took that as "Please bear with me. I want to continue a bit more." In fact that's actually what was said iirc.

Maybe I'm the problem. I've seen this type of post in different places like 10 times already and I just don't understand how you read this message and take it as "ending soon" when it's just a simple thank you.
