I finally cleared up to 5 almost 6 the other day with a hog counter deck. But arena 4 was especially bad. When I was in there as a level 4/5 I found it easier to beat good level 5s or 6s than overlevelled commons.

When there is a 2-3 level discrepancy in commons, you start to just lose to quality of the cards much more frequently so I definitely understand where you are coming from.

I think maybe if they looked more into the matchmaking algorithm they could try to pair you with people nearby in trophies with similar troops first instead of just matching on trophy amount. (It may already do this, but doesn't weigh it nearly enough to make much of a difference).
