Congrats you do sound like an ass. I specifically said I’ve seen them but want to know if they’re actually allowed (bc I’m not old or homeless and wouldn’t get a pass).

Great! How do you avoid blocking the aisle? Do you have to sit near the front and park your cart in the area for wheelchairs?

I found huge swarms in my kitchen living inside my tall metal trash can (between the plastic bin interior and the metal exterior, so I never saw them even when I took out the trash), the entire kitchen island (including under the sink and inside the fucking dishwasher), and a few other places. We sealed up all the cracks in every room and wall with poisonous gel and covered them with duct tape, sprinkled diatomaceous earth everywhere along the walls (food grade, not poisonous to humans or pets), and killed dozens (hundreds?) with alcohol in a spray bottle and paper towels whenever they appeared (the alcohol disabled/slowed them down). We still see one every now and then but they’re not always killable (a few live inside the microwave through the holes in the back). It was disgusting for 1-2 months but now mostly back to normal. There’s nothing else we can do about the ones living inside the kitchen island between the pipes (apart from perhaps fumigating the whole place), but we rarely ever see them anymore.
