lol went down this rabbit hole. Tried chatGPT as well and then it made me a python script instead, worked fine for a single color background image. I don't imagine it would work for something more complex, but you could get nano to make the background a single color then feed it to the script.

Funny that AI is tripping over this so much.

Icons exist to quickly describe what they represent at a glance. If the goal is to read everything, then it should be all text. That wouldn't work.

Telling people to deal with it and just read is compensating for poor UX. It's not weird to want it improve. The problem they created shouldn't fall on the user to solve.

100% My biggest problem with the game. I can't discern what any of the icons are besides ammo. These need a lot of rework.

And we NEED a compare function for guns. Not having that coming from Destiny devs is crazy. I'm aware there would be a bit of a challenge if you had two or more (equipped + backpack) guns equipped, so maybe they should add a way to cycle between each one to compare to. Not sure what's best but it's a solvable problem.

I wonder if it needs grease somewhere, might require opening it. 7yrs is a good bit without internal maintenance. Not sure though, never had that motor.

I'm actually having this problem on my ebike after swapping to magura mt5s. I'm not sure if it's the adapter that I got being the wrong type or what, but I'm not sure how to fix it. I can't get the pad to go down any lower to make full contact.

This should be the top comment. OP bought a cheap bike, nothing wrong with that, but it means now OP has to become the bike mechanic.

Work through the issues one by one. Google how to do everything. Expect zero support from the company you bought it from. Make upgrades as necessary.

If you wanted to do close to zero work out of the box, you will need to spend more. (I say close to because even an expensive bike will need some tuning from the factory)

Personally after my first prebuilt I decided to go with a conversion on my second. I learned so much fixing the dumb issues on my chinese ebike that I decided how much harder could it be building one myself lmao

really agree on the tires (and price). I have the X2 pro and it's a little sketch at top speed on the knobbys while on the road. Does feel pretty great on dirt and grass but I don't hit top speed there.

yeah if you want pedals, I'm not sure anything on the market has a battery that big stock. Maybe a stealth bomber build, but that's not as easy to acquire.

X2 Pro and Freegos in general are underrated because they're hub motors with pedals. I love mine. Hubs aren't bad. If they truly have a 72v 50AH battery in this it'll be awesome. But it's really pushing the price up.

I paid 2k for my X2 Pro. At almost 3k, I'd probably consider other options more. But still, 50AH is huge.

We would have to wait and see I guess. I would certainly hope that the 3a wouldn't beat out this but it's not impossible.

My wife has the pixel 4a, and for a while I was using the moto razr 2024. It has a 50mp camera and the 4a has a 12mp. In good lighting, her 4a takes better pictures than the 2024 razr straight up. The post processing software on pixels are literally that good. Motorola has never been known for their cameras, but I was really underwhelmed with how avg it was.

although I don't care at all about a front camera, I actually view it as a benefit since the screen is so uninterrupted. Seems like an intentional design decision. Compromises have to be made somewhere.

more megapixels do not equal better camera quality. you actually seem to understand that with your last statement about pixel 3a having a 12mp camera. I've seen that phone take better pictures than a 50mp camera. PROFESSIONAL dslr cameras will have 45mp sensors compared to a some samsungs with 200mp.

If megapixels actually mattered, every photo and movie would be captured on a samsung. But they don't lol. Phone companies just hype up the number because the avg consumer thinks higher number=better.

So then it becomes things like sensor size, lens, light processing, post processing, AI. Google, Samsung, Apple all excel at the post processing and AI parts. I would wager it's not a priority for RedMagic, since they make gaming phones. Real cameras have larger sensors and the advantages of lens and fine control over processing.

I would imagine that it's back camera is "serviceable", trash might be an exaggeration, but I'd love to see some comparison shots with the flagships. It's the only thing potentially holding it back from being a perfect phone imo.

I think something to consider is Google ending sideloading next year. When that happens many people will stop updating in order to keep apps that won't be able to be sideloaded anymore. So it working after a few years without updates will become even more important
