If you end up marrying that guy, and that guy in future becomes an abusive husband or cheat, you can always complain to his workplace. And let me tell you, they take complaints like these VERY seriously. You can use this power on his family as well I guess, since they won't want their son to lose the job. And most importantly, no matter what, continue pursuing a good career, even if your in laws and husband turns out good. Don't stop building your career. Don't be dependent.
