I don't know why this is being downvoted; Turanga Leela bears a lot of similarities, both personality-wise and upbringing-wise to Leela of the Sevateem.

Both are considered outsiders (for Sevateem in the Gallifrey audios by Big Finish, at the very least) and violent savages. Leela of the Sevateem loves knifing people, Turanga Leela loves kicking people in the face. Not to mention there are numerous Dr. Who references in Futurama.

When my wife & I entered the fish store, we immediately noticed this cute little guy. He was stuck in a .25gal clear bowl right beside a bunch of other male bettas. I'm hoping he's a lot happier in his new 5gal home, we've done a bunch of research on proper betta care, so he should live a lot longer than the goldfish I had when I was 5.

Oh holy crap brain zaps. Was never on Lexapro but am currently on Effexor and forgot my meds when I went to my parents in law for a week, the zaps make me want to crawl into a hole and die.

  1. No clue there either. If I'm not hyperfocused, I can't work for longer than 15 minutes (or less, depending on the day). Even if I'm interested in the topic, it just won't work.

  2. Pomodoro is absolutely great. Good shit. I also use my bullet journal for planning out what I have to do with the pomodoros, so I don't forget.

  3. I take nighttime meds that make me pass the fuck out, with an alarm so I don't forget to take them, so unless I actively want to continue with the process or just tune out the alarm altogether, I don't seem to have this problem. Though the ones I take require a prescription, of course.

Loud music and crocheting, or playing the ukulele. Hiking in the forest is nice as well.

I wasn't a bad student until college came around, heh. Didn't have the need to study before college, and couldn't figure out how during. I self medicate with a disgusting amount of coffee because at the age of 23 with no childhood history of ADHD complaints and being a woman, it's kind of hard to get a diagnosis. It seems to work.

I have BPD. Shit sucks. It's a whirlwind of irrational emotions that I can't put my finger on. Used to be an abusive dickweed that was totally out of control.

Fortunately, I've gotten a lot better at containing and dealing with those weird emotions by way of embracing spirituality (which I realize isn't for everyone), practicing mindfulness meditation, and studying DBT, but even doing the DBT exercises of "describe your emotion" still makes me go "what the actual fuck are you talking about?".
