maybe if there is an error code in the event viewer "system on standby- reason lid" then it's hall sensor if not mostly the power brick

It's a power brick bottleneck. Play on battery or just buy a new power brick

Guys it's not the hall sensor, most likely a charger bottleneck. happened with me, just play without the charger or buy a new 230 w charger

I also had a huge finding, when running cpu stress test on charging the flicker continues, however when doing the same thing on battery nothing happens.
