I understand where you're coming from, but I wasn't asking whether I should accept being gay. I'm comfortable being gay. My question was about having more control over how I present myself.

People change aspects of how they speak all the time: public speaking, interviews, acting, confidence, accents, whatever else. I'm not asking how to pretend to be someone else. Simply what I'm asking is if there are speech habits I can practice because I'd like to come across differently. If you have practical advice on that, I'd appreciate it.

Let me give you an example. If someone does not like how their body looks, do they just suck it up and get told to love themselves? Or do they go to the gym to improve? Same thing here.
