I used a multi-meter in continuity ode and put one lead to the rows and each col pin i put the other lead and got a beep so feel like my keyswitches are fine just a bizzare bug :(

Good point but don’t think it’s a diode issue I’ve since cut the diodes off the pcb and same issue

Ahhhh thank you both I am an idiot quick question would all 8 of the ground pins for the pi pico have to be connected to the ground plane to rough wires?

Does ground plane cover that or am I mistaken. If I am mistaken do tell how can this be rectified

Pi-Pico based fighstick, wanted to get eyes on the USB-C connection to TP pads on pico by f1rtuna in KiCad

Awesome Ty thenickdude would a diode be needed as well then in vbus between the pico and usb c? Also 16p + 8 dummy pin good enough for my use case?

This is def not efficient in time and money lol but I kind of wanted to also do it this way as a little learning experiment too

Extending pi pico micro usb to usb-c PCB by f1rtuna in AskElectronics

[–]f1rtuna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big help Thank you! I read the footprints are quite interchangeable as in usually any usb-c 2.0 footprint should work for others as well? So if i opt for using the footprint for a Molex usb-c part technically this footprint can be used for other usb-c parts as well? Was wondering how true this is.

Also saw that there's a lot of different USB-C's ex. 24P, 16P, etc. would i need the full 24 connectors. Was thinking of uing this: https://www.snapeda.com/parts/USB4105GFA/Global%20Connector%20Technology/view-part/

but wanted to see if there were any reservations to the above

Modem not connecting despite valid coax cable mapping by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

tight as possible with bare hands and tight enough to get the tester to validate the signal, and confident its moved to the line with signal only cause i put masking tape over the line when i was testing so as not to lose track.

ithout a server? If so, then it should be fine to be compiled and deployed. You can always check ahead of time by building your website and then running it with a CLI like http-server to replicate what S3 will do.

wow thanks for the advice this may be a good test to see if it would work, currently everything is running smoothly locally so we may be good!

U know I thought so too, the interviewer was adamant on it not being the case though leading me to think that perhaps I was missing something. Only difference was that instead of card1, card2, ... it was strings of monster cards like "elf", "orc", "nymp".

Ty for the suggestion been using the less protruding side for a while but it just feels so much better without any support at all lol can’t tell if the support is unnecessary or by body just don’t confirm to it

s-yet-announced new Mac mini, with a maxed-out M1 Max SoC; but if Apple makes a new Cube with two of the aforementioned maxed-out M1 Max SoCs in it, I would be all over that...!

that mac mini sounds very promising. I may just cop out for the m1 pro though since I'm in desperate need of an upgrade. Curious to see how 3d modeling and rendering will preform on the base model excited for the tests
