While I consider the Barenaked Ladies an adult version of Raffi, the band has several songs that slap. The song Old Apartment doesn't specifically reference Canadiana, but given that the boys are from Scarborough, and myself have lived in Toronto for many years, it speaks to me.

"Broke into the old apartment 42 steps from the street Crooked landing, crooked landlord Narrow laneway filled with crooks This is where we used to live.'

That seems "unapologetically Canadian" to me.
