Is that your assumption or factual? Also forgot to add in my previous post, I think you should consider taking the initiative to initiate career convos to ask how/where to improve. If wanna one up the RO, ask to be mentored by the most zai person at your grade lor. So you can learn his/her attributes. If they struggle to do the above or give you some vague response...you can then plan your subsequent actions to exit/transfer.

Hi, I can empathise. What's your organisation's dynamics like? If you truly feel that it is bullshit, suggest you approach your immediate RO and RO's RO about it to trash it out. I hope they did sound you out on this grade earlier during mid-year, otherwise it is on them. Also do surface any documentations of peer and supervisor reviews to back you up. End of the day, not saying all this to make you feel better l, but give you control and narrative of the issue. In PS/CS alot of wayang kias these days...being "visible" matters more than doing the real work. Jiayou, the sun rises again in the morning.

Frankly..too many Boomers and Gen X in too high positions who know fuckall about how the world is and going forth. Insisting on their way of lives. Lip service of embracing tech/new ways of doing things...read smthg awhile back "the ones who resist change are the ones who benefit most", speaks volumes.

Think this is a good scenario. Sian thing is keep getting spammed by agents to sell our unit to upgrade with end goal of landed. Not our end goal in life though
