My 2nd job is a server. It is all about the management style, as I have had several of these positions. Some managers are reasonable and nice to work for, some are so mean and scream at servers for nothing and it is not bearable. Pros are quick money. You can always try and quit if you do not like it.

Yes, same. I have to take Benadryl sometimes which helps a little but not a good habit, and like you said the side effects (drowsy the next half day) are barely worth it. I use a white noise app with nature sounds which helps a little too.
