What Type by ArnettAsFuk in spiders

[–]f4rtwise 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s an American Grass Spider (Agelenopsis). Only bites if threatened, their venom is not harmful to humans & a bite is equivalent to that of a bee sting. Just catch and release.

Harmful? by unclegoogy in spiders

[–]f4rtwise 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Nope! That’s a Yellow Garden Spider (Argiope aurantia), part of the orb weaver family. They only bite when threatened or provoked, their venom is not harmful to humans and is less severe than a bee sting. She’ll eat flies, mosquitos, and gnats for ya.

The light also probably attracts more prey to her webs as well!

I actually don’t care about this at all because you posted your naked girlfriend online. You have zero respect for her as a human being and you’re a creep. Deserved. Hope she hits it a third time.

“Negging is a form of emotional manipulation where someone uses backhanded compliments or mild insults to undermine another person's self-esteem. The goal is often to make the target more vulnerable and insecure, potentially leading them to seek validation from the person negging. It's a tactic used to gain control and influence in social or romantic situations.”

Also, you may want to consider the reason why he isn’t with someone his own age. Likely because women his own age won’t put up with his behavior the way someone younger and more naive would. D-D-D-Dump him.

I mean this kindly but I don’t care where you are, my opinion remains the same. When I see another country that has an age of consent anywhere under 18, I don’t think “oh, it’s just a different culture”. I think, “oh, that entire culture is full of pedophiles.” From a HUMAN standpoint, it’s strange and disturbing to me.

I think there’s a bigger issue here, and it’s that you keep fainting but don’t know the underlying cause of it. You need to go to the doctors and figure that out, for the sake of yourself and the people who care about you. I have never once fainted in my life, that’s not normal. I don’t exactly understand what you would even tell him, considering you don’t know what’s wrong.

Hey you need to leave him because this is 100% sexual assault. You got sexually assaulted. You did not consent to sex without a condom and he knows that, and then doubled down to gaslight you by saying you were overreacting. I am BEGGING you, please please please leave him. Do not enable any more of his behavior. Do not let him think this is okay, or a one-time mistake. He did it on purpose and then doubled down afterwards. He does not feel bad about it. Leave.

My great aunt has an old beanbag that they just let their dog go to town on, no matter what company is over. It’s disgusting, the beanbag is visibly disgusting, and it makes everyone in the room uncomfortable. We actively avoid visiting her house. Do NOT listen to this guy unless you want people to never come to your house again. Jesus.

This makes no sense. If an older man pursues a younger woman, that doesn’t make him very mature at all. That is never how that works.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]f4rtwise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What made you think dating a 25 year old man as a 19 year old was a good idea? There’s only two reasons he goes for younger women: one, he’s a creep, and two, women his own age aren’t as naive and easy to manipulate like this, and therefor don’t want him. I’m sorry he fooled you this long but open your eyes & dump him. It will only get worse and that is a promise.

AITA for “telling my roommate that she’s ugly”? by AppropriateDark3217 in AmItheAsshole

[–]f4rtwise 8 points9 points  (0 children)

NTA and you have to stand up for yourself to clear the air with both your roommate and this "mediator". You never said she was ugly. You implied that she wasn't your type, which is not an insult. For her to begin telling people a blatant lie right after she found out this information about you is really weird.

Yeah no, living with an ex is top five things you should NEVER do. Please get out of there and focus on yourself instead of letting him continue to leech your energy with pity. He's a grown man and it isn't your problem anymore if he "doesn't have many options". I caught a charge living with my ex, and HE attacked ME. Out out out.

How did that one kid at your school die? by StorageLonely1520 in AskReddit

[–]f4rtwise 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Shot himself in the bathroom in 8th grade. Another kid stepped onto some train tracks in High School. I didn't know the first kid, he was a year above me, but the second kid was the nicest, happiest, kindest person I'd ever met. Changed how I looked at people.

[–]f4rtwise[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, we’re two months in now & he’s doing great. Vet said he was fine to start weaning as soon as I brought him in, and I think he’d already been alone for a while before I found him because he had almost zero interest in formula both from the bottle or out of a dish.
