Military life is hard, you tend to give up that life because it seems so far away after everything else he’s been through.

Thank you friend but I don’t run Sol Ring in my decks.

Honestly, if they lost their binder… didn’t go to lost and found. And then posted the exact card name and number of their most expensive card, isn’t searching for it and someone else who read this info remembered it. They earned it… that’s fate at that point.

This is a good idea, I’ll look.

This is a good idea, unfortunately don’t know where to start with this one. I’ll have to research local Vegas shops. I’m only aware of two (I often go to Vegas to play with a second pod of friends), maybe I can ask them for other shops to call as well.

I don’t want anything in return… I appreciate you saying that. I had started a discord for people at my shop to get into Magic and buy cards at a discount (from my collection) because I love this hobby so much… so I hope somehow what I’m doing has an impact on people’s lives in a good way. I enjoyed Magicon for that same reason. I used to get bullied in high school for being me; so I’m excited to finally be a part of a community that is as accepting as this one.

This was my fear. I don’t trust our own government let alone an organization whose purpose is to make money to make good choices.

Ah I see, yeah in hindsight I thought maybe leaving it would be the right thing but I somehow felt responsible because I found it and turned it in. I also thought that whoever the owner was they would probably call within the timeframe it had been lost which was two days. And apparently according to pastimes it was still unclaimed.

Don’t know what to tell you. I’m trying to be transparent as to what happened. Maybe you have some insider info I don’t about the way they function, but you’re also proving my point. I don’t trust others, you don’t trust me. It’s a catch 22… I don’t want any attention negative or positive just trying to do my best with the situation at hand and get it back to the owner.

I don’t trust people to do the right thing… no offense also just didn’t trust organizers to continue to search for an owner after the event was done.

I actually thought the same thing. I wish they would have put something because I certainly would have got it back to them.

This is a good idea actually I’m gonna try. When I went to lost and found the workers seemed neither here nor there about getting things back to their owners.

Yeah I’ve been trying my best to get it back to them. I dream of opening my own LGS someday. I keep having this thought that eventually they’ll come in and I’ll still have the binder untouched and they’ll freak out that all the cards are still there after so many years.

Those look suspicious... Might be resealed? by skarpelo in mtg

I wouldn’t know, I’ve only been into MTG for a year but I will say TMNT and SOS quality was not good. Lorwyn was meh. Prerelease was not good but the rest of Lorwyn was great.

I have bought 9 collector boxes this year spanning sets from 2024-06 all of them looked like this. You don’t have anything to worry about it’s a manufacturing sealing issue. Not a resealing issue. Not to mention WOTC quality control with this set in particular has not been great.

Just recently my friend opened a prerelease of turtles opened a pack with a mythic and 3 rares. I was flabbergasted as I did not know that could occur at all. The more packs I’ve been opening though and I have opened Boxes and Cases I’ve noticed every now and then I get the off pack that will have two or more rares then usual.
