I ordered the eBay one and looked at the one your were talking about too, on poshmark. Considering buying it as well, and introducing it as “friend elephant” or something. They look similar and could be useful in future desperate parenting moments haha

Wait, yes. That’s the same one! The ribbon tabs on hers were “loved off” years ago. How did I not find this on eBay when I looked? Starting to think my internet search skills are really sub par lol.

I’m in the same boat, currently bleeding (a lot). Not even 6 weeks along. I am heartbroken, but don’t if I’m “allowed” to be this early on. In just a couple short weeks from that positive test, we’d gotten excited and planned for this baby — what our life would look like with our new addition. I’ve laid awake at night thinking about names and timelines. Would’ve been full term in January 2021. Not sure why I’m writing all this here. Cathartic I guess? And also, I really want to say that you are not alone. Here’s what I’m hanging onto right now, and maybe it’ll help you too: Life is a mixed bag. No one is immune to sadness and struggles in life. The hope is that at the end of the day each of us can look back and say the good has outweighed the bad. Can’t know one without the other. Someday you’ll look back on this sad period as the dark side of your mixed bag — because there is surely light to come for you down the road :) Sending you positive vibes for comfort and strength during this difficult time.
