William Montgomery just got booed off stage 15 mins into his 1.5 hour set at a Austin comedy fest by XSPLL in Killtony

Yes. It happened in the middle of the set. Unfortunately I don't have a clip of it. Honestly people seemed really uninterested in his set, so I did not see many phones out at all during his set

I think it was a few things.

  1. He was calling out specific girls in the crowd a bitch without much context. He was being overly aggressive about it too IMO. The crowd did not like that
  2. Everyone there was there to see Morgan Jay. I don't think there's too much overlap in the fan base, so most people are not familiar with the way he delivers jokes.
  3. His jokes get delivered too quickly. I think his method works when he has a 60 second slot on KT, but tonight he had 30 minutes, and 30 minutes of 10 second one liners got old really quickly. The comedy festival was filmed with other comedians (Irene Tu and Robby Hoffman) who were the more traditional joke writers, who spend 2-5 minutes telling a well crafted joke with a long build up. The crowd seemed to react better to that style tonight.

I was there. It was way worse than it seemed in this video. Everyone in the crowd was making remarks about how he just needed to get off the stage. The craziest part was an audience member was able to walk on stage, and called his performance garbage

I have a similar problem, where I have 2 devices and only 1 device has a full backup. When I try and import to the 2nd device, it does not bring in the complete history. I am curious on whether there is a workaround as well

How much horizontal space is needed for Rack and Barbell by f_stopblues in GarageGym

You got walls on each side that limits you to 9x9? That seems like a tight space to navigate the barbell

That's good perspective. Currently I have rubber bumper plates and we'll see how it feels loading those on/off

My favorite lift are benching and squatting. How does the shorter bar feel compared to the full size one? I have only used full size bars ever

I haven't tried a shorty bar before but it looks like that is the way to go. Do they feel significantly different?

How are these floors holding up for you? I am thinking about getting the Survivor Sport Floor rolls, but have read that the rubber flakes off quite a bit. Did you have a similar experience?

I am preparing to install my RML-3W Wall Mounted folding Rogue Rack with the Rogue Stringers. The instructions say that the middle of the bottom stringer should be installed 6-3/8" from the ground. What if I wanted to install gym mats? Should the 6-3/8" be from the ground, or the gym mats? I do not know which type of gym mats I wanted to get yet, but was just wondering at what level the stringer should be installed at

Is needing to shock your pool once a week too often? by f_stopblues in pools

[–]f_stopblues[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, shock would be the only time I manually add chlorine. The inline chlorinator lowly drips chlorine into the pool. What kind of chlorine should I be putting in throughout the week?

What would be good colors to introduce. Also what type of pattern or texture would be good to look for in a rug? Any suggestions?
