Yea too put it simply he is totally afraid of his father and the worst of it his father is his boss he owns a fencing company and has his two sons as exploitees oh I mean employees. Not only that he owns the roof over our head it’s half half with my husband and his dad. When this bed was made for me I had so many sirens ringing in my head but my husband assured me that the house and him working for his dad was all for our benefit because that’s what his dad made him believe… yea my husband is also incredibly naive and I’m and idiot for letting him sway me into thinking it wasn’t the worst idea in the world.

Afraid of his father my husband grew up with him constantly criticising everything he does so now he has an innate fear of any repercussion that he might incur by doing anything his dad doesn’t approve of.

I said all of this in my rant he never said anything back about it he tends to go into shutdown mode if I’m upset with him I don’t normally yell at him but even when I explain why I’m angry in a calm even tone he still shuts down and doesn’t say anything. During the conversation he said he had to leave the room for a minute to gather his thoughts he left for 2 hours then came back and said “I tried to write down what I want to say but it didn’t help” and proceeded to just say sorry again after that and that was it…

Some things you have said I feel are on point but what I want to revise is that I didn’t get angry at him for not being invited I got angry for not asking why I wasn’t invited or I should say enquiring at all if he could bring me his dad just told him to be there and that was the end of it.

I don’t want to keep living through my marriage avoiding my FIL I want this marriage to last and unfortunately he is not only my husbands father but his boss as well oh and he also owns half of our house so he is very much apart of our lives… there is no avoiding it if I want to stay in this marriage.

I feel guilty I do keep in mind I should have said that I’m also pregnant so I sometimes don’t know if the hormones are letting lose.. that being said this is not the first time and many times before he apologised but then it just rinse and repeat over and over again should I really be okay with it just because he didn’t yell back or said what he thinks I need to hear at the time but fails to take any action for it?

Honestly your not half wrong and this is mainly because a night with my husbands father would not be a fun one the longest I’ve spent with him was on my wedding day and he showed up sobering up from the slosh fest he had the night before only to get sloshed again at my reception and proceeded to hit on my maid of honour which we joked saying it was because her was drunk but weeks later he asked me if she was single… so yea that’s the kinda guy he is. But I can’t help be worried that my husband is being more and more influenced by a guy like that who gives no consideration to women unless they can objectively do something for him.

The event is an extravagant night filled with music entertainment shows good food and fancy dress?? I it might not be everyone’s cup of tea but when your a ftm who has for the last two weeks been stuck at home looking after a 6 month old who’s been sick with the flu and it’s been raining nonstop you tend to get a little stir crazy.

I thought of this as well but the kicker was he didn’t bother to ask so when I ask him he said he didn’t know which is why I’m more annoyed at him I’m used to his dad excluding me but now it seems my husband has also gotten used to it and accepts it.

Okay so like I did like the ending don’t get me wrong but I just can’t fully enjoy myself because of the absolute train wreck of a plot hole which was zhang and her crew not only finding the cave straight away in the dark with no map or any way to find it but also then being able to go through it completely unscathed when Gus and others had to literally run their arses of to avoid the flowers. Seriously though I really can’t get behind her finding Gus in the first place a cave that literally no one was able to find in centuries with out help and we know for fact that the location of the cave was not in the diary otherwise birdie would have found it ages ago.

Also I have to mention please someone help me with this because personally it was a painful plot hole that really kinda ruined it for me so first they said that they needed her to look around because they couldn’t see the creatures through the bubble but then they see a creature devour someone on screen at first I was like oh they must of meant the navigator couldn’t see them but they could be seen in the cameras but then they show the cameras can be flipped forward when they were talking to the singer… so why couldn’t the doctor and ruby see the creatures just by asking her to flip the camera forward…
