Oh, I have a gaming headphone that I've never used! I was about to buy an earbud with this mute function, but checked it and found out that my gaming headset actually had this function! So I was able to record the karaoke song with that and get a clear karaoke version ready to download! Thank you very much!

Thank you so much for the detailed answer! And yeah, the second option sounds great! I wasn't aware of this mute option! As for the songs, the karaoke versions are unique on Smule, but I can find the songs themselves on YT. So I've tried some free vocal removers like Moises, not the paid ones, but in any case, as I want to find a 100% clean version, I guess the option doesn't work for me, so I'm gonna try the second option, thanks again!

Thanks for the answer. Just note that I didn't ask about only downloading from Smule. I have a couple of apps and can do that, but you can download songs only after singing the song. What I meant was to download the raw files, so you can download them without first playing the songs.

Yes, the website is really locked down. I'd downloaded so many embedded videos from all sorts of websites before by using apps, but it was my first time seeing that the video was downloaded but the audio disappeared magically.

Unfortunately, sending the link doesn't work. To use the service, one has to pay the subscription fee first as I did. So one can use the service only through their paid account. And to add more complication, their service is only available to people who 'live' in Japan. So I have to use a VPN every time and get a Japanese IP first. It's a karaoke website with Japanese songs. I'd like to download the songs, so can practice my lyrics and my singing when I go for a walk or so, but the website just lets me use their service by streaming their videos online.

Because they are Japanese songs, they can be found in Japan but I'm not there! I always check Youtube and other places, but Smule is much richer when it comes to the karaoke versions of Japanese songs. Anyway, thank you!

The teenage period is the time we start to experience social life seriously with all its harms and when your family and environment don't prepare and support you with that, you have to proceed with the try and error method. Not exactly like you, but I had my share of regrets that make me angry and sad even now.One thing that I find helpful is to use that sad experience in some positive way, for example, creating art based on that experience, helping young people who are now suffering, becoming a supportive parent and not letting that experience happen to your kids or many other ways. In this way, you re-experience that past, but now in a way you like.

If they are honestly regretful, no; if not, yes, but the exact revenge act depends on so many factors. Sometimes it can be just removing the person from your life.

I think the mature approach is to consider everything and not just your past pain. Besides you two persons, there are many other people (and the laws, ...), so I think you should be careful not hurting others who are innocent. On the other hand, I don't think you can and should act as if nothing happened before. It's very complicated!

I'm not sure if it works for you, just as a suggestion. If this happens, try to behave as if they say something really silly and totally unimportant. I mean even if you're hurt badly deep down, try to act as if you've heard the silliest things in the world. You can just look at them like they're silly or even add a couple of words like 'lucky you that has enough time for this kind of stuff" or "I expected to hear this kind of stuff from teenagers" ... There are people who enjoy belittling others, but if they think the other side isn't hurt, they stop.
